We have to face it, we haven't had a good football game from EA SPORTS since RTWC 98.

2002 FIFA World Cup is nothing special, the gameplay is boring and NOT fun.

I hate the new FIFA passing system, it's not fun, you don't need power bars, that only slows down the game and makes it boring, but I don't want Pro Evolution Soccer, cause that isn’t good football wise either. It doesn't feel like football, no football game does!

I've got UEFA CL 01/02, but the tits that made it, created it so that only certain drivers for the graphics card can work for it, otherwise you get glitch heaven, so that sucks also, and in gameplay. Maybe if the pitch was a LOOOOOT bigger in that game, then it'd be ok.

Man, no football games are good anymore, they're all a bunch of ****, and lets face it!!! :mad:

I don't think any developer will make a football game, with only people that like football in mind. Instead they try and make it so that even if you don't like football you can still enjoy it, which sucks, cause I say if it's a football game, then it's got to have everything taken from the real thing, nothing can be missed out and these games programmers don't know all that!

Kick Off 2002 seems to have a lot of realism; I'm not buying it, as it look terrible.

Football games are sh*t!! :mad:

Nick, there is no better foootball game than Pro Evolution Soccer. You just have to give it time to let the gameplay sink in. Just give it a week, and I'll GUARANTEE you wont bother to put on your boots again. ;)

I'll wait for the Playstation 3 and grab Pro Evolution Soccer 4 or something! ;) Don't want Playstation 2, as it's technology is already murdered by the XBOX and Gamecube!

Jezz Nick. Have some balls mate. You changed your mind like the winds changed directions. First you slagged on WC2002 about the shootings and superheaders and tacklings. Then you agreed with sKIp_E and a few others who thinks that the tackling in WC2002 is the most realistics in any footie game. Let me ask you and others who blamed the drunking tackling on poor tackling angles. Well in real life, do you stumbled like a drunk when tried to tackle another player even if it at an akward angle. You might if the the other guy shoved or stiffed arm you. But rather than having a player stumbled, why not have him totally missed the tackle and slow down to a complete stop if such a tackle can't be make. I might be wrong but you don't even have a PS2 judging from your comments, so how can you say the PES is not football either. It is the closest thing to football in any video game. PES takes time to get used to. It takes me weeks before I could master all the moves. And I am still learning everyday because the game is not scripted. You can score in so many ways. I don't know about everyone else, but to win in FIFA, all you need is forwards with speed. Use your wingers and the speed button to outrun the defenders and shoot at a 45 degree angle at the goal. I don't have a problem with you complaining. But this is getting to be rediculous. Stick with an opinion and don't changed every time you jump on this board. Otherwise, you will get no respect.

i'm with v-9. btw, the konami football games' gameplay takes some time to become a master since the first ISS for SNES. and i really love it. so different from fifa, when anyone gets how the gameplay works with so little time... :mambo: :mambo:

...and also fifa can be funny to play :D :D (just to be clear that i don't hate fifa series), mainly (??? sorry for bad english) playing against other human(s) player(s). :p :cool:

Seriously Nick, you're missing out on so much! Who cares if PS2 has inferior graphix, its the gameplay thats important. Mind you, its still not too shabby compared to Xbox/GC....
