What happened with ISS3 is that all of us bought the game believing that it might just work on our computers and it did not work well at all!!!!!

Now theres PES3,if so many ppl are having problems with the demo then the full game wont work on most pc's just like ISS3.Konami dont seem to test the game before releasing it.

And if theres any1 who believes the full game will work fine then you are mistaken!

Then theres those who are playing the game to fast cos thier pc's are mean machines!!!Isnt that funny how Konami can screw up again on their second pc release???????????

Well dont forget Bambi that this is a leak demo not on final code. And dont preorder games, try the demo "official ones" or test the game priort to buying it.

Well ask your self, why isnt it hosted on official servers from Konami or any major webiste as fileplanet?

And ask yourself it has gone gold too while youre at it asking questions that are important to answer your first question.

I am sure konami made this demo but not if it was meant for public release

improvements will be made on the demo, its an early BETA! hence the white ball in the game. Remember the leaked beta on the ps2? bad stutter, white ball etc. That had been improved alot by the time the final release came.

I don't see what to improve from the demo ? Today i tried it on 6 different PCs and all work fine. Some of it is not very smooth and there's a stuter because of slow PCs.. but hey, you don't expect to reach 100 KM/h in 4 seconds using a hyundai accent right ?

the demo works good but needs tweaking, heres what I found out so far I downloaded rivatuner, removed vsync and played around with other stuff aswell. But when I changed refresh to 60hz is when it all became 90% smooth.

when I first tried the demo without any tweaking it was truly a mess the slowmos etc... but now its a bliss. runs like a charm with 1024*768? medium settings.

got pentium 750mhz geforce 3 ti 200... so I cant complain with their coding too much.
try to tweak it people I think u will solve it eventually and get latest drivers.

i know what you mean, but certain people with good pc's are having problems with the demo, maybe the different download places of having an effect, it does seem a little dodgy that certain people operate it fine and others have a lot of problems.

TROD.

The game runs pretty smooth for me at 1024 x 768, but I'm always looking for ways to improve the quality. When you say you switched your refresh rate to 60hz, are you talking about the monitor refresh rate? How can that affect the smoothness? I've never heard of changing the refresh rate to improve game performance; only to make it easier on your eyes (in which case, higher is better, like 75 or 85). Am I missing something?

Forgive my ignorance if I'm missing something blatently obvious! In any case, this game is phenomenal.

My thoughts exactly, the game was running perfect on my PC then I changed the refresh rate...slowmo and high speed depending on where I was on the pitch...changed the Direct3d refresh rate to "application default" and was smooth as silk again. Weird.

On topic - The requirements are only asking for a directx8 capable video card, I don't think this is too much, seeing as Directx9 games are starting to appear...Directx7 cards(Geforcemx cards) aren't good enough for the latest and upcoming games.
