Vieira yeah. But the whole French team overall doesnt have more foreigners than most other national teams.

There used to be a rule saying you can't have more than three foreign players on the pitch. I think that rule was taken away in the mid-90s (does anyone remember exactly when?).

it was due to European legislation. Mid 90s, can't remember exactly when but it was around 1995-1996 I think. I remember because we couldn't play Cantona, Schmeichel, Kanchelskis and Keane in the same team.

anyways, we've talked about the french national team millions of times. who cares if most of the players' origins are from different countries..more or less former colonies of france. that's like saying, every american player isn't really american.
