Lazio vs Chelsea MY Preview

Batistuta

Youth Team
Firstly, if you read the topic you would see that this is MY preview so don't be getting all upset and stuff when you've read what I had to say, ok?

Now on with the show.

To be honest with ya, I really don't know who'll win this one. But I can ALMOST certainly be sure it won't be a draw (or if it is we'll get alot of goals maybe 2-2 or 3-3 who knows). I initially thought that Lazio had the upper hand judjing by current form in the Serie A as well as the Champions League but one notices that while Chelsea has not been playing all that well in the Premiership, they have definitely risen their game for the Champions Leage (reminds me of the way Fiorentina are playing). Just for the record, Fiorentina beat Milan 2-1 at home. Aint that jus great!?! And BatiGOL scored too!!!!! woooohoooooooo!!!!!!
Anyway, back to my little review/preview....I wonder which one it is?
In their last five league matches Chelsea has won one game, lost two and drew two....not particularly good new for you Chelsea fans out there. Lazio has done somewhat better with two wins, a loss and two draws. Despite league results, both teams have played considerably better in Europe.
Lazio has a ton of "big-name" players to call on. Let's see there's Mihajlovic, Almeyda, Simeone, Veron, Salas, Nesta, Boksic. Inzaghi (S) is also on a pretty good run of form. (Forgive me if I left out some players).
Chelsea also has their share of talented players....one wonders why they aren't higher up in the Premiership. A team with players like Zola, Tore Andre Flo (suppeeeeeerrrbb player), Babayaro (scored at least one really great goal in Europe this season), Wise, Deschamps, Desailly, Poyet and Leboeuf. Once again forgive me if I left out some players. I am somewhat favouring Zola and Tore Andre Flo as the better strikers of both teams. Zola has great dribbling skills and Flo, like I said before is suuuupppppperrrrrrrrbbb. I just happen to like his style of play. Now Chelsea have the two Frenchmen, Deschamps and Desailly who have both won the Cup (with different teams). Who knows, that might work to their advantage. Lazio have probably one of the best midfields (Veron, Almeyda, Simeone....yes I AM BIASED towards Argentines) but seriously, Veron IS still one of the BEST central midfielders you would find today (Overmars being the best winger of course - MY opinion), Having said all of this I really can't say who would win this one. But what I can say is that we are in for one hell of a game today, free flowing football (hopefully) and while Lazio has home advantage, I don't think it'll help them out all that much. I am looking forward to a great open game with attacking football from both sides. Who knows, it might just end up in a 2-all draw.
Good luck to both teams and also to Fiorentina who play Bordeaux tomorrow (without the BatiGOL
)

Greetings from the BatiGOL!!!

Mihajlovic, Nesta and Stankovic are all suspended for this game. This will make it difficult for Lazio but I still expect a 1-0 or 2-1 victory.

remember chelsea have already been to italy and played well against milan. i watch serie a but i would like to see chelsea triumph. i support inter and i think they r coming in to some form after a shaky few games.well done fiorentina on beating milan. i think batigol is agreat player and with him , rui costa and balbo fiorentina have a real chance in the champions league. if chelsea win today they should easily qualify for next round but i don't think they r good enough to win it.
