Seems more like a chick movie imo (from the preview), no offense. Why would I want to see a guy's portrayal of his emotions while falling in love with a robot?

Yo chick movies are good sometimes >_>. But this ain't a chick flick, at least for me it wasn't. Idk, I loved the movie just due to the sense that this relationship, which seems crazy at first, seems scifi yet very close to reality(guarantee you that had this been released a few couple years back, this movie would be irrelevant or kind of boring). That idea hooks you onto the plot and makes you wonder if this weird relationship will become a thing one day. Pretty entertaining plot and realistic obstacles which challenge this partnership, especially when you get to the end. I'll admit, the ending wasn't very clear to me, still a great movie. Oh, and Joaquin Phoenix played his role very genuinely, I liked his performance. I don't know, I enjoyed the movie a lot. But I guess if you are not into sci-fi romantic films or even romantic films in general, I don't recommend you watch it.

I should probably take a girl to it. I dont know, I kinda trust Spike Jonze and the reviews have been excellent but it just totally does not appeal to me. I dont like Romance or Sci-Fi, as a rule, however. We'll see, lots of other films out at the moment...

including the one I saw last night, Inside Llewellyn Davis, latest offering from the Coen Brothers and possibly there best work in years, absolutely fantastic. Really, really good. Very moving and a little unsettling for me as I noticed parallels with my own life, but the portrayal of that "scene" in the 60s, of New York, of desperation and despair was just spot on. I didnt really know the lead actor, Oscar Isaacs, but he did a wonderful job.

Instructions Not Included - Great, great movie. I totally recommend it.
Finished watching this like an hour ago or so, it was quite enjoyable indeed, a little bit of wine added to it as well i guess.

Watched Captain Phillips earlier on today as well, wasn't as good as i expected it to be, but it was ok.

August: Osage County. Really entertaining film, plays not normally make great films but this one did, also one of the few films of the year with genuine, high quality parts for women.

I must watch American Hustle.

When I first saw the trailer last year, I knew it was going to be a good movie. Didn't think it would be Oscar nominated like this.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

Love it and enjoyed it very much. The ending and the way it set's up to the next movie is perfect, Smaug is one badass dragon.

Watched Wolf of Wall St tonight. Was decent, not sure it deserves the rave reviews it's received though.

That Aussie chick is soo so hot. As are a few others in it.
