does this post have a secret meaning?

Funny you should say that, because every once in a while as I watched the movie, I was reminded of a drawing of her I wish I had. :(

So Yes, it does have a secret meaning.

Watched Drive for the first time the other night, very impressed, the hype was well deserved. I am a big fan of The Driver, the 70s film on which Drive is based, but I thought this was a very decent (semi)-remake, they kept the key similarities but the things they changed were positive, in my opinion. Carey Mulligan is absolutely superb aswell. A little gem this one.

I know, I am pissed I missed it in the cinema, would have been great on the big screen. Have you seen The Driver? Check it out if you havent, you need to see where Drive derives from. Actually, much of The Driver is taken from a classic french film called Le Samurai, so really you should check that out too to see the full derivation!

Ides of March...... not so keen. Didnt think Clooney's governor/candidate was very believable or credible, also an unusually formulaic performance from Ryan Gosling. Salvaged by PS Hoffmann and Giamatti putting in wonderful performances as jaded, stressed out overweight campaign managers, but all in all too much smarmy liberalism and too many liberties taken with reality. I dont expect great political works from champagne socialist Clooney but I would have expected better characterization, I am not sure he has what it takes to be a consistent director despite the quality of Good Night and Good Luck.

Yeah that's why I was disappointed, having seen both Gangster Squad and Drive recently, both of which he was excellent in, I was expecting better. His character was not well written, but he still could have made more out of it.

Yeah I agree with your take on Ides of March, it never really takes off, nothing really stands out except the two campaign managers.

He's great in Blue Valentine was great, too, have you seen it?

I really liked RyRy in the Believer, and Lars and the real Girl as well.

He's been in Iceland recently, not sure if he's still here or not, disappointed not to have spotted him yet :/
