Superman
last night I watched two movies:
first The Cell, with Jlo, Vince Vaughn and the God that is Vincent D'Onofrio. Man that movie is so underrated and is so brilliant. the cinematography is excellent and the things these guys made up inside that mind of D'Onofrio's character is awesome.(Y)(Y)

then I watched Bubba Ho-Tep, in honor of The King Bruce Campbell's visit to Atlanta next week for a screening of his next movie, and Im going to meet him :D
I'd never seen the movie before and its really great. Bruce as Elvis and Ossie Davis as JFK. too cool.(Y)

and right now I just watched True Romance, which I hadnt seen in years, maybe since it was released.
what a great movie. I loved the beginning with Slater and Arquette falling in love. a truly great romantic scenes there. Gary Oldman's freaking Drexl Spivey. and then the Gandolfini-Arquette fight is excellent. and Denis Hopper "Sicilians come from n1ggers" story in from of Christopher Walken. and then the super violent climax with everybody there: Slater, Arquette, Rapaport, Chris Penn, Tom Sizemore, the Fabio guy and the Don Johnson clone, and the Italians. awesome script by QT and perfect work by Tony Scott specially in that final showdown (Y)(Y)

My ass smells like your mom
I just saw Fantastic 4, the movie was alright but Alba was sexy as ever which made the movie amazing. :D

I'm in the middle of watching The Devils Advocate for the first time right now, had to take a break because my ass was hurting (what a long ass movie) but yeah I've heard great things about it and decided to finally watch it.

edit: just got done watching it, it rocked (Y) and that ending! that was just satanic.

Fight club, for the 5th time. The best film to ever be created without doubt.
Fantastic script, honest, great actors, very well directed.

I saw "The War at Home" with Emilio Estevez and Martin Sheen. The first hour was very good, but the ending was just bad IMO.

El Merengue Argentino
Rounders

I can't remember if I've posted it before.

It's a movie about Poker.. (Y)

Ed Norton and Matt Damon are terrific in it

Starting XI
Saw The Big Lebowski and I, Robot. Watching The Big Lebowski I was never really interested because it just didn't really seem to unfold for me right away and by the end I could've cared less. I, Robot on the other hand was very good, but it could've been much much better with a better cast.

Watched the first half of 21 Grams...what a movie, wow!

Amazing performances from Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro and Naomi Watts. At first I didn't know what to make of the movie, pretty confusing at the start but the way the director clears every confusion up as the film progresses is just pure genius.
Even though I haven't watched it fully I recommend everybody watch this film, a true masterpiece!

Anyone here watched or heard of Gummo? It's supposed to be one of those weird/obscure movies. It's written and directed by Harmony Korine; the same guy co-wrote KIDS with Larry Clark. Anyway, I really want to see it...

yeah, 21 Grams is pretty wicked! I remember when I first watched it I didn't think too much of it in the first 15-20 mins, then it just started getting deeper and deeper to the point where you're like "holy f*ck!"

I am still to see 21 grams, it's always on special offer and I always mean to get it but for some reason I never do. I definately will next time. Same with The Pianist.
