Yeah, Memento. I really liked Fight Club at your age. I still do, but for completely different reasons. Donnie Darko. Not at home and I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

Hah Hisashi i browsed through the last page and i noticed you've been watching some bizarre movies lately. I don't know if you're into that kind of stuff, but i'm not going to judge your taste in movies.

A little recommendation for you, use sites like IMDb or RT (i don't use that one, but some prefer it) and read some reviews about the films you plan on watching first. Just to get some kind of an idea if they're worth seeing.

And if you're running out of movies to watch then you could just go through IMDb's top 250 at first, you can sort it by genres etc. That's just some basic advice, but i'm sure you could find some good movies from there to watch that you haven't already seen.

Also try to find movies by certain directors whose films you've enjoyed.

Nah I really don't like reading the summary and stuff. I want to have the element of surprise when watching a random movie.

I didn't say a thing about reading any summaries. Now that would be pointless. I meant reviews (by random people/critics) that don't contain any spoilers which would ruin your movie watching experience (ok i left out the last part, but it's kind of obvious). They just describe the plot a little more and give you a better idea if it's worth watching or not.

Oh and i'd recommend "Joe" as well.

I don't really have anything to watch anymore az. Maybe you can suggest a decent film?

What genre do you like the most? Action? Comedy? Drama? Noir? If you like them all, then I recommend you Goodfellas.

As Chygry said, they're reviews, not plot summaries. A good review shouldn't give any of the plot away

I wouldn't exactly call it the worst, it's just probably the most well known (and it was a special moment for me when watching it for the first time), that's why i recommended it to Hisashi who seems to haven't seen most of the quality older movies. My favourite Hitchcock movies are probably Vertigo (probably my fave)/Dial M For Murder.. ahh i'm gonna stop here. There are so many.

The one i was most disappointed with was probably "Rope". Some rate it highly, i don't.

North by Northwest has a couple of good sequences but it is full of plot holes and some of the scenes look so dated and tacky now, including the famous Mt Rushmore scene. Also the acting is so wooden, I really dont think Cary Grant ever knew how to act. James Mason is great, I'll admit.

Another Hitchcock movie with Grant that always gets 5 stars is Notorious, but I wasnt blown away by that one either. I was not blown away by Vertigo on first viewing, but then I watched it on this huge screen cinema (in austin texas of all places) and realized how visually spectacular and ahead-of-its-time it was. It's a good film though you have to get over some clunky moments.

My favourite Hitchcock movie is Rebecca, that one blew me away. I also still love The 39 Steps even though it is quite simple and early, and I think a very underrated Hitchcock film is Foreign Correspondent, which kind of has the broad scope espionage/cat-and-mouse themes of N by NW but without as many clangers and with better acting. Oh, also The Lady Vanishes never ceases to entertain me, it's a good film and also has two English characters which I find so, so funny because they conform so much to stereotype.
