Disney to Buy Lucasfilm for $4.05 Billion; New 'Star Wars' Movie in the Works
The Walt Disney Company has acquired Lucasfilm for $4.05 billion in cash and stock, and announced a new Star Wars movie to be released in 2015. And these are just the ones of the top of my head I remember being from Touchstone. They owned Miramax for almost a decade (Pulp Fiction, Chicago, No Country For Old Men are from that period). Besides, all the Pixar movies. They also own ABC and ESPN. So the next Star Wars trilogy might be bad, but to automatically attribute it just to the fact it's owned by Disney is ignorant and just an excuse for more lousy internet memes.
