Inception was insanely good, fantastic movie. That ******* DiCaprio is one hell of an actor, man...

He has been my favorite actor for quite some time but his last two films (Shutter Island and Inception) have put him so far above everyone else that it's not even close now. He is the next Carlos/De Niro.

^ Agree with you there. Strangely enough, the Best Actor in the world still does not have an Academy Award to show for it. Stupid Oscars. But, I think the the Academy will redeem itself this year, and finally give it to him for either of those two films.

Finally got around to watch it. I'm not one of those who like to say things were better before, or that something is good just because it was done ages ago; I definitely do not know if it deserves its unofficial title of best movie ever, but it's undoubtedly a great, great film (Y)

Toy Story 1 & 2 - Warming up for Toy Story 3 later or tomorrow. Not bad, I like animated movies. As a matter of fact, I think I'll watch Team America again. F*** yeah!

Inception - Great movie... sketchy ending. I called it midway through it. I still loved the way the movie was made, how they mixed the scenery with the dreams and the action. I went in expecting to be wowed and wasn't though, so when I left the theater I felt disappointed. But after thinking about it, I think it was a great movie, just a meh ending.

Why didn't you like the ending? I love endings that are open to interpretation.

The A-Team

First of all I have to say that the set pieces and action sequences were superb. Second (and more importantly) the movie has very succesfully captured the character and chemistry of the team members.

Special mention has to go to Sharlto Copley who had the impossible job of following Dwight Schultz as Howling Mad Murdock - he did it brilliantly, even using the british accent as Schultz did.

The other three were well cast and also the characters were faithful to the original, explaining the origin of B.A's fear of flying and his dislike of Murdock.

It's not the most cerebral of films, but it's a great movie in it's own right and as I said it's nice to report that Hollywood has taken something from my childhood and NOT f*cked it up. (See Transformers and Thunderbirds)

Well, that's the thing. In my opinion, I felt that there was enough evidence to show that it ended with little room for interpretation. But to not risk spoiling the movie for people, I'll leave it at that.

I'd say imdb posted some great arguments into both possible endings, so unless you got some absolutely stellar evidence that nobody noticed, I don't see how there is not enough room for interpretation.

I finally watched La Haine ... and I loved it! really immersive ... makes Banlieue 13 feel like a comic book film ...

the characters and their dialogue was tops ... Vinz with his Taxi Driver impression and his vache, the mature 'cousin' Hub, the hilarious Saïd («Comment ils ont fait pour rentrer la voiture?» hahaha his tone cracked me up ) ... that Astérix cameo was funny ... and the toilet argument, interrupted by the Grunwalski story, was one of the best scenes in the movie ...

i definitely recommend it!

jusqu'ici tout va bien ...
