It's a rollercoaster, it's a thrill, it'll take years off your life - basically like crack, but its definately something you dont what to have lived a life devoid of.
It's very engrossing and goes really quickly but I still think it'll take you a good three or four months. I would definately recommend reading the three books back to back, rather than taking breaks in between, if you want the full intense experience.
You ever seen a movie called Body and Soul? I havent, but apparantly it's another boxing masterpiece and it came first, Scorsese borrowed heavily from it when making Raging Bull, apparantly, and cites it as one of his favourite films.MaSsiVe;2345052 said:yesterday I had the opportunity to finally watch a masterpiece called Raging Bull, which IMHO is the best boxing movie ever.
De Niro has been my favourite actor for a long time so it was a shock for me to realize the time I've spent without watching this movie it's definitely one of the finest RDN performances.
I didn't but will try too watch it soon, thanks for the advice SirSir Sir_Didier_Drogba;2345218 said:You ever seen a movie called Body and Soul? You should see Somebody Up There Likes Me. Probably not as good as Raging Bull, but that's where all such movies come from.Sir Sir_Didier_Drogba;2345218 said:You ever seen a movie called Body and Soul?
