Anyway, I will forgive you, as you are obviously of the in between generation who missed the initial magic of the series. :jap:

Then I must be FAAAAAAR away from your generation, since I think George Lucas deserves a light-saber up his ass. (H)

That explains it:(

I first saw Star Wars when I was 4 in 1977 and it was absolutely the coolest thing ever. I still remember the excitement of waiting for the next movies to come out. Waiting in big lineups to see Return of the Jedi. I remember my younger brother (he was 4 I think) hiding under the seat when Jabba the Hutt came on screen (H)

Anyway, I will forgive you, as you are obviously of the in between generation who missed the initial magic of the series. :jap:

nope that's not it, I saw the original movies when I was like 7 on tape and even then when I was all into the space/aliens thing I thought it was stupid and not very exciting. i just can't understand how some people can be so into it, it's obviously a bunch of chicken s*it :(

I've been waiting for you, Obi-Wan. I knew eventually you'd be along to defend our beloved Star Wars.

Can anyone tell me what's the name of that SF movie with that Brittish actor (can't remember his name, looks really simillar to Ewan McGregor though) where they had some sort of weapons made of organic stuff (and which looked like fried chicken wings)? I reckon it was produced around 2001, and its name was started with "E-". It was about a group of people who joined some sort of virtual game, really took me time to understand the movie since I saw it when I was little.

I think eXistenZ is the movie you're thinking of? Cronenberg movie starring Jude Law.

Yup, that's it. What do you think about it?
I dont know, havent seen it. I think it's on TV some time this week though, so I may take a look, but it looks like a mediocre attempt to recreate the kind of theme of one of his masterpieces, Videodrome.

am I the only one who got a hard-on from looking at those bio-ports?

Yeah, Videodrome and Existenz do share similar themes and concepts but Existenz, as you've correctly guessed, is by far the weaker of the two films.

Watched Green Street Hooligans again. Every time I watch it I almost drops a tear when the final battle ends.:crazyboy:

Anyway, damn good film, about loyality, friendship less about "soccer".

Don't tell me you took it seriously.(6)

Watched American Pie Naked Mile and Rocky Balboa.

First one is even funny in some moments, anyway it's a watchable film.

Now about the second one, most of film was boring, thinking about wife etc. Only fight at the end was interesting.

Chuck Norris + retired Rocky= unbeatable team
