Where I come from the term "English wannabe" refers to the people who live in Flintshire (county in North Wales), where, because the nearest maternity hospital is across the border, most of them seem to call themselves English when they are of true sheep shagging stock.
Also, NottsSupporter used to be an "English wannabe". These days he's a "Danish wannabe".

I am liking the lack of didy activity, apart from the one post in this thread, hasnt posted since this campaign began.
