LA LIGA | Round 2: Real Madrid vs. Celta de Vigo

Sevillista

Starting XI
Even if you don't count the last goal, Madrid failed to beat a just promoted team at home. With Real Madrid's expectations, this has to worry the Real community. It's points like this you wish you had when you're looking up at Barca at the end of the year.

I would be worried if we had repeated the bad game we had against Cadiz. But thats not the case, we were much better today.

I think FF7 has been in Mexico a bit too long. Come back amigao.

Robinho proved he should start today. Thats all Im gonna say
Did he play like he did against Cadiz? I hate to say it, but that guy could really turn the team around.

Oh shut up. Insults like that only make you look stupid. And believe me you don't need to do anything out of the way to make yourself look like a complete moron.

Help?

Heh, Real given a taste of their own medicine. Usually it was refs giving them unbelievable decisions to award free points, but today that winning Celta goal and Robinho's 83rd minute goal. lol. That's a real kick in a teeth, if i was a Real fan, i would want to shot the whole damn refeeing crew.

I just saw the first half. Pavon didn't play relatively bad at all. He was unlucky on that Penalty as Placente was unlucky on our penalty. However, Placente did kick Baptista in the back of his foot. Pavon, from what I can see, jumped in the air with his arms up. He had the intention of bringing them down in a wing like movement, but couldn't cause the Celta players arm was also up. Pavon was really unlucky. My biggest concern was the marking for the first goal. That defender was all alone in the box. Luxe needs to correct that tactically.

As for the rest, Robinho and Baptista looked fantastic. Their short passes and general movement were excellent. Gravesen did what he normally does, steal balls. Beckham hustled about recovering passes and launching passes. Ronaldo had some good shots, but could have done better. The fullbacks were solid. The only bad performance came from Guti. Now he's always bitching about being on the bench, but everytime I've seen him start he gives one of these lack luster performances. We would have been better off with Raul in there. Believe me, Raul is much better than Guti.

As a team we were very solid in attack and in ball possesion. I loved wathcing them string passes together effortlessly in midfield. It reminded me of the Championship years. Defence only had too very costly hickups. Otherwise it was solid.

In football, you can have all the talent in the world and still not win. You need luck. Celta had it in this first half. But anywayz, someone please post the torrent for the second half so I can see what went wrong in that half. You know, besides the non-existent goal from Celta and Robinho's wrongfully disallowed goal.

Don't change the topic wiseass.

The thread title is "LA LIGA | Round 2: Real Madrid vs. Celta de Vigo" so we should be discussing the match, not Manchester United because your slow-ass can't come up with any insults worth posting.

But I didn't make any predictions for my match, let alone those of a cocky cock one. You guys have foreseen a goal fest and match domination against a side superior against you guys today. Enjoy the cockney english. (C)

And Madrid fans were making fun when Barca couldn't Alavas two weeks ago.
F You.

From what I read, it was a lucky win...nothing bounced our way, and everything did their way. A phantom goal to win it and madrid who dominated the second half. From this game only one thing to look forward to...CL against LYON. the season is too long to worry about these "lucky" games...

-Beckham is rumored to be out for the CL against Lyon so we might see P.Garcia...yes. (Y)
-Pavon is also a doubt, so Ramos is pretty much a Starter for the rest of the seaon... :rockman:
-Robinho again will probably start in Tuesdays game.
-Guti got his chance and underperformed. Forza Guti (H)

Again Vegagast, why even bother if you ain't helpin'?

lol boohoo cry about it :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo:

Fernandez, yes i did make a high prediction becuase i sersiouly think that we should be beating these teams pretty easily but we didnt, so Luxe needs to obivously do something to change that around so that we are winning with more ease.
