How about instead of blaming the other teams dont you just give credit to Real and the fact that at time they can be pretty hard to contain....

geez....Im sure if Barca had come back then it would be their amazing display blah blah blah....give credit where it is due

100% agreed.

Was there any need to mention Lyon? What does the Lyon game have to do with that discussion??

Looks like the bernabéu match will decide the tittle, whatever it happens both teams deserve the league, they will probably make +90 points! insane. We'll win 2 tittles in bernabéu this season.

6 against madrid, and 3 against barça in Calderón, those bitches must learn from Espanyol, they gives them their asses to real madrid just to bother barça.

btw, marca should calm down...

I think both teams are still going to lose some points, but not many. Madrid have the major advantage of not playing the Champions League, but anything is possible.

Xerez are on a roll.... they've earned 10 points in 5 matches. They're now 7 points off Valladolid. Do they have a chance?

I think the winner of el Clasico will have a huge morale advantage.

Btw, Racing and Bilbao are pretty good teams as well.

BIG win for Sevilla today (3-0). We just might have turned a corner, but it was against Tenerife, so who knows?

Jose Carlos, a player from our cantera, scored his first league goal in brilliant fashion.

Yes brilliant goal, but that Sevilla its worse than Jimenez one! very boring match
It was our best performance in weeks. We weren't great, but we didn't play "al balonazo" and we were missing Zokora, Jesus Navas, and Perotti, our three best players this season.

Some comments...

to me, real has/had three chances letting go of the first spot..
one was against racing (though id be something like a 1-1) and the other is against mallorca on the 5th of May.

Anyways, i think its such a pity how the competition has slowly been losing its quality. I mean, we've seen it before but not as bad as it is this season: two teams on top.. Third spot almost guaranteed by Valencia and then 4 or 5 teams boringly battling for the last UEFA spots. (its not like theyre displaying great football either)

Even those on the bottom are well established. Theres no suspense.. Ive only seen three real madrid la liga games this season but hell, every paper, friend or knowleable football person says the same thing.. 77pts but no football. No beauty...

on another topic, i ******* hate c*cksucking marca for all their cristiano ronaldo hype. Geez, its lame as **** seeing how they publish every little **** related to him.

I think Villa is an amazing player btw :)

1. Yes, I think everyone is in agreement that Marca's CR9 fetish is disgusting.
2. Yes, the quality of the teams behind Madrid and Barcelona has declined, but only for a season, I believe. Sevilla, Villareal, and Atletico have all struggled this season. However, Madrid and Barcelona have had unbelievable seasons and no team was ever going to compete with that. I think things will balance out again in a couple of years. But really, who was going to compete with a team who spent 252 million in the summer?
3. Madrid have not been able to dominate possessions and goal scoring chances like they should, but they are much more entertaining to watch than they have been in several seasons. Even I can admit to that. They're still no Barca though :)

Btw, does somebody want to start a thread for the Clasico? I would, but I don't have the time to make a nice opening page like I know you guys enjoy. If nobody does in the next couple of days, I'll start a basic one.

Seeing this schedule, I believe that we'll increase the gap even more by the end of this week. I'm pretty sure we'll be crowded Champions before week 37 is played.

You're talking like CR9 now lol. How ironic. :P

Have Valencia said anything new about their financial situation? Haven't been paying attention to my friends' discussins about the team recently and I was wondering yesterday whether Valencia would have to sell their stars this transfer window like they were expected to last time. Good thing for them, I doubt anyone other than Villa's had his price tag diminished, and he could still command a big fee.

Absolutely not. If we win all the games including week 37, we will be crowded Champions even without playing the last game.

But as I said, Madrid are subject to drop points same as they did last season. And the possibilities for that to happen by the end of this week are really (they visit a tough stadium (@Almeria) and then host Valencia).

This time you said "if" but in the previous post you said "I'm pretty sure we'll be crowded Champions before week 37 is played." which is the same as "we'll be champions by week 37" which is what CR9 would say lol.

I think you chose the wrong words. "we might be crowned champions by week 37 ... " would be more appropriate.
