i see even after the shamefull servers in pes5 konami seemed to have learned nothing.

first day blues same old crappy maitenence messages. servers been down atleast 5 hours today.

yeh yeh i can accept its first day and there workin out the bugs. but theyve had a year to get it right and failed.

when servers go down and your logged in u can play the laggiest game if it pleases you.

every player on 1 bar of health. even when me and a mate both on 10mb cable conns you get more delay than fkin british rail.

they removed direct ip to intercept downloaders. fair enough . but there lack on knowledge in netplay in seriously in danger of making the best football game in the world today nothing but aggrivating time consuming and extremely unenjoyable.

you may say its first day blues but if i have to sit n watch that fkin bar goin across the top for one more second im gunna scream or hear that dull sound of "connection to server lost"

itll be the same old crap this year.

could i suggest you log in to your account then have an option of lobbys/ip/lan

its not hard. and its hard enough handlin most players connections and the lag cheaters without having to embark on the agonising task of trying to log in and hope konami dont lag you .

still a fkin great game great improvment im pes till i die but i fear death is closer than loggin in

totally agree to an extent, there is no userfeedback, all there devs right now will be working on the next release already, as we start to see an EA scenario of crap releases just for the sake of it, there very close to running the pes reputation into the ground.

This time of night i beg to differ if even a single person is working on the server issues after the crunch period.

If this is not resolved by noon tomorrow, i will be taking the game back and getting my cash back. and will await the play.com order for half the price.

IN addition to what u said, let me say how much I hate playing in that ridicolous stadium with that turf that drives me blind.

Hopefully a kitserver will come before christmas.

I logged in the first time today at 7:20pm and there was a message stating the servers will be down from 7:30pm for maintenance for the uk.

It all depends on the online mode for me. Its if it's just the same, appalling, pish, garbage stuck in a lag time warp, then 'pes5 beta 2' will be going back.

23:25 Still cant log in, i wonder if after midnight it will be ok, as i have read that releasing a game in the UK before Friday is against the law? (its tuesday in the U.S), So maybe they got a little wind of the TPO's selling the product before release and decided to pull the plug on the server before its expected date?

Just a thought and possibly a wild one also.

Konami have gotten complacents in many aspects of the game. When it comes to solid snakes weapons there quick of the mark though...

Got pes aint bothered to play online....i'm considering getting another game

0100 i managed to log in, won a few games then went to bed, however today i cant log in due to the servers being down.

If any Konami Devs read this, do u not practise BDUF, this is bordering on the stupidity of the uncut waterfall effect. Test and test before release, not when its released ffs.

I just spoke to the British arm of Konami, i nice asian lady called regina.

The conversation went something like.

Me:Can i have my money back?
Regina: I doubt it, but you can try.
Me Do you understand that you should not release a game before fully testing its functionality?
Regina: I understand there are issues, but we are working to fix them
Me: Do you have a lead time for the fixes?
Regina: No, we dont know when it will be fixed
Me:Why release a game, when it is not fit for use?
Regina: I dont know to be honest. You could try the Pro evo 6 website.
Me: Ok but it does not have any customer feedback, forums etc.
Regina: Yes it does
Me: No it doesnt
Regina Really
me: yes really it does not.
Regina: Oh i did not know that
Me: to be honest, you dont know much really do you, no fix, no time scale, no forums, nada.
Regina: True
Regina: The people in Japan are working on the fix
Me: Ok so the people in Japan cant send a simple E-mail to advise the company when this will be solved.
Regina: Obviousally not.


and we spoke for a while about goldfish and winter gardening.

yup, i still cant log on 21:24, what a bunch of losers, release a game before they test the integrity. There were clear problems with pes5 set up and some twunt somewhere has overlooked that, with the new online menus (which are totally **** btw) the community cant log in.

I have never thought of buying a fifa game before, and i abhor EA, however konami is rapidly losing its crown. The new FIFA game i hear has made alot of ground.

Twunts are close to ruining the best footie series to date.

Konami, it seems, have got complacent and feel they can churn out any old crap and we will all settle for it. That might work for EA, but Konami have set high standards in the past 6 years with the ProEvo series, and these standards are slipping drastically. They had a GOLDEN opportunity to make it big with this years game, what with the 360 version offering next-gen capabilities. Did they take it? F*** did they, and it could backfire on them.

For the record, 21:30, and nope, still get "Connection failed", "Server is full" and what not. Pathetic.

23:10 - at f*cking last, managed to log in! And get to the servers - and then the lobby - and then the matchrooms...so I try and join a match

and you guessed it:

"Connection to server lost"

!!UPDATE!!

Finally logged-in about 22:45ish and played three matches.

One against a german player, was winning 2-0 at half-time and he quit or got disconnected and the disconnect showed on my stats :)

Second player, won 1-0.Not much lag when hosting but when set as the client the lag was poor.

Third match, was drawing 0-0 and got disconnected half-way through the first half, and since then cannot login.

First impression is just as expected. I hate the console gui lobby and the lag is still apparent.

I'll give it a few more tries online but I am curious as to what the feck konami have been doing for the last year as this is just like a patch for pes5.

Except not all of the bugs have been corrected.

R.I.P. = Konami, I think i'll be getting a refund though .....

I have been playing pes 5 on xbox live with not a lot of problems. But pes 6 i can't seem to get a game on xbox live, i appear to be in some kind of lobby.
There are quite a few names that are in the lobby showing that their in division A, but when i click on any name and then on where it says enter, after a little while it just says something about the room does not exist any longer.

Can someone just confirm whether i am doing the right things to try and get a game on xbox live please.
