knife trick

I know its a verey stupid question and already been said before.
But how do i tell what PS2 version i have?

I got a model called SCPH-30004

With V5 and 6 it isnt possible to do the knife trick rigth?

Letme guess i have v 4?

Just want to get it comfirmed, also what AR2 Version is the best?

Probably a v4 you got there, as V5 and V6 has an "R" suffix. AR2 should work if you have a PAL ps2.
