Kleberson Granted Work Permit

it just came up on sky sports news that the home office have granted Kleberson a work permit, he is expected to complete his move to Man Utd 2moro morning ready to make his debut against stoke on wednesday

Howard didnt need a work permit.

He was granted a Hungarian passport that meant he didnt need a work permit, cos Hungary is gonna become part of the EU or something like that.

Kleberson looks to be a good signing. I just hope he doesnt take too much time to settle in at Old Trafford.

Klebersson is ALRIGHT....he was EXCELLENT at the world cup, but I dont think hes that good anymore....plus Brazilians dont do well in the premiership....too much long balls for them....

nay, juninho, silvinho, gilberto (edu too?) have all done reasonably well in the epl (especially juninho) and additionally, man utd (as well as arsenal) dont play (as many) long balls as the other teams.

No, you're wrong...

Hungary may well have applied for EU membership, but the fact of the matter is that they are not members of the EU at present. Thus Howard did need a work permit.

It just seems strange that Howard, who has only played a few games for the US team, was granted a work permit (on appeal may I add), yet some other players who tried to sign for English clubs were rejected even though they fulfilled the criteria...

I hope Kleberson does well... it's nice to see brazilians succeeding at the highest level in club terms.... but in my opinion he's overrated...

Why Hungarian Passport? Is one of his parents Hungarian or somthin?
