Am i right in saying that version 5.04 will look for png`s before bmp`s and that version 5.05 is the other way around ?? I dont use 5.04 but 5.05 looks for bmp`s first and then png`s which is not what the manual says . Is that right ?

That's strange... It should look for a PNG first, and if not found, then look for a BMP. The earlier version (5.0.2 maybe) was indeed the other way around, but i'm pretty sure the latest gives preference to PNG.

Maybe you are using an old DLL somehow? You can check it like this: in Windows Explorer, right-click on kserv.dll, choose Properties, then Version tab.

Haven't tried anything with boots, but i think a boot server is possible. It will have to wait until the main features of kitserver are finished though (3rd kits, full attribute support)

Nice one . I noticed earlier in the thread that there was talk of being able to create multiple kits within a folder to get around the pesky shared palette issue where by you make the combined kit pre-made and simple select it in game . Is that still in the pipeline ? Cheers

The kitserver works very well but I want to ask one question.

In my West Ham folder, I dont have any keeper kits, I only have the home and away kits. When I play the game, the keeper kit appears to be in all black, black shirt, black shorts and black socks.

Isnt it the default kit in the game will be used if there is no that kit in the KDB folder?

There is no default west ham keepers kits in the o_text.afs , thats why they are all black . The keepers kits would have been made by Konami using the edit team page but if you select default in that menu you will go straight to the empty files in the o_text .

Juce, if I install kitserver 5.0.6, after uninstalling 5.0.4, do I have to manually edit all the kits again (set default) or it won´t affect them?

men the default kits stay in the option file..

no, you don't need to do anything like that. Upgrade from 5.0.4 to 5.0.6 is very simple: First, keep the KDB folder that you already have. Only replace these files with newer ones: kserv.dll, setup.exe, MANUAL.txt, HISTORY.txt. That's it. No need to do anything else. You don't even need to run setup again - the upgrade is complete.

My Kitserver doesn't work.

I've putted in the folder: Pro Evolution Soccer 5/dat/KDB, and i put the kits in the KDB map. Is that allright or am I doing anything wrong?
