Kitserver 5

I have just installed Kitserver 5.05 and the problem is solved sometimes. When I use United home kit vs Arsenal home kit, both the united and Arsenal player kits are perfect, but the keeper kits are still messed up.

I am using the KDB that uploaded by a member in WEvolution containging about 90% of kits. Do the palettes in that KDB ok?

Thanks Juce and everybody.

unfortunately, many teams in that pack don't use shared palette. I haven't tried all, but those that i did try were still using original palettes - as created by the kitmakers.

just use the konami's hidden england kit.

Can we extract those bin files and replace the England unlicensed kit files in GSS5.11?

I would try, but I can't see the unlicensed kits as they appear black, so I cant find the other set of england kits.

Anyone know what number they are in the AFS?

I know the licensed ones are uni006

Sorry if I have missed something or it has been explained somewhere before, but where/what is this hidden england kit?

Get the latest version of Game Graphics Studio, 5.11, open the 0_text.afs archive in the dat folder of PES5 and scroll through the file till you find the kits. Licenced england is in there. Starts at pes5pc_uni006 and it looks very nice.

It isn't used when you run the games though!!!! Same with Cagliari kit, the licensed version is in there just not used.

I havent tried many kits...so, how can I know if the kits are using shared palette? Can you please give me an example of shared palette kits? maybe upload a zipped folder for United. (06076)

THANKS!

EDITTED: Problems solved! I realised that I have imported one and only one keeper kit for United and when I replace it with the original one, everything is okay. That means if we have any non-original kit imported into the AFS, kitserver wont work properly.

I'm having problems with the kitserver5 pack including a bunch of kits, which i downloaded from Proevolutionline.com...

A lot of the kits look all wrong in the game. I looked at them and they don't follow the same pattern as the ones that work in the game.

In the ones that do work, the front and back of the kits are the same size in the bmp/png. But in the ones that doesn't work the front takes up almost half of the back as well. So then you think "No wonder it doesn't look right".

BUT, when I then installed the optionfile that came with the download as well, it looked right. The problem is that if I keep it that way, all of the players and teams I've edited, all of my changed in the game will be erased and I would have to start all over again... Surely there must be some way to solve this? Help anyone?

check the attrib.cfg files in kitserver KDB for those kits that don't look right. If there are missing, or if there's no "model" attribute set, make sure you do specify right model. For narrow-back kits, you can use 78 - for club kits, 12 or 13 - for national teams

Example:

[pa]
model = 78

Use PES Fan Editor
http://rapidshare.de/files/7260143/PESFan_Editor_5.zip.html
1. File--> Open your Optionsfile
2. File Open OF2 Optionsfile (the one that come with the KDB Folder
3. Go to: OF2 Import and click on All Kits/Emblems/Club Teams/Names..)
Save as: Overwrite your old Optionsfile. Thats the only way i know
but save your old optionsfile before you do that in a other folder

I tried it, but it still doesn't look right. My file looks like this:

# player home

collar = no
model = 78

# player away
[pb]
collar = no
model = 78

# goalkeeper home
[ga]
collar = no
model = 78

# goalkeeper away
[gb]
collar = no
model = 78

The kit looks like this:

But ingame it looks like this:

I don't know how to fix this :rolleyes:

Sorry for my ignorance, but what team is this?
Looks like options file somehow trumps kitserver setting (provided you put attrib.cfg file into correct folder :)), which is weird - should be the other way around... Can you send me that options file of yours so i can experiment with it on my machine?
