i'm thinking we all REALLY do need a freeware color-reduction tool that would convert kits into shared-palette ones... Anybody in the process of writing one?

Juce, its possible to make shared pallet kits in ggs if you create an image with both pallettes at the moment isnt it ? I'll admit though that it is difficult to merge kits with lots of colours... :kader:

Juce , just want to say thanks for the latest in the kitserver series !! Brilliant !! So far everything works including fonts numbers etc .

I dont know whats shared palette, I just use the png in the EPL pack. Does it mean that the home and away kits having the same palette?

And does it matter if I am not changing the shorts/socks? I mean if i am only using a home png and an away png.

Ah, remember my pic which has both United and Chelsea players? The Chelsea kits also have that problem, and they are the original ones, not relating to the United kits palette. So would it be some other problems?

Or Juce, can you please briefly explain how do you do with the kits after you get the pngs from WEvolution?

No... Does 5.0.4 work?
Try moving the options file away and see if that helps. (Though, if you made a lot of mods, you'd probably want to keep your options file, and just use 5.0.4)

No, It crashed with 5.0.4 also...

dunno if it has already been asked but, why kits are so detail lacking in this new pes?
detail remain good just if camera is very close.
once leave some metres, detail goes down (and not just a little).

any chance to "boost" the texture detail for this year? :hump:

Yes, it does.
However, if you're not mixing(changing) shorts/socks/shirts, then you _can_ use non-shared palette kits, unless you play a team against itself.

Good question, mate. :)
I was looking into that, yes, because i agree - the appearance is not great, unless the camera is really close. Even the pre-match photo scene, which used to look good in PES4, now is kinda crappy, because they use medium versions of textures for that.

So, yeah, a texture boost feature would be nice. Cannot promise it, but who knows...

Sorry guys, i screwed up with this release: forgot "masks" folder in KDB. Without that folder, the mixing of shirts/shorts/socks doesn't work with all-in-one kits. I've just uploaded the corrected ZIP file. My previous post today now has the right links, and also i've updated the first post of the thread.

It's possible to change location of the number (front shirt) ? Because with the lastest Adidas uniform (France, Spain, Japan, Germany, etc...) number is on the right, not on the center.
