BTW, after you mentioned it I checked out the getty images search feature ( I hadn't seen that before), and wow it's pretty comprehensive. Looks like it won't be hard to go scouring the web looking for photos of obscure teams!

@jay: at least for national teams it's really good. club teams can be difficult, i couldn't even find skonto riga.

@TripleOption: sorry, i only made two kits in 4 months because i'm finishing university these weeks. i'm really sorry since i can understand you have real trouble finding african club kits. but if you look at the other kitmakers' threads, some are even asking for requests.

Thank you for the pictures but it was only an example i have to admit. i was searching them for myx because i asked him if he wanted to make it. he asked for pictures but he seems to have found them for himself (he already made the minikits) - but nevertheless, thank you for your effort!

You planning to return to kit making after your semister ends August?? How long you have left?

I think so. But i think i won't make that many kits anymore, simply because we don't need many kits anymore.

My main work is due on monday. Five months work will be over then. However, I'm almost done, so I had the time to make those Congo and Congo DR kits. Then i have six weeks for a subsidiary work. After that there is a colloquium, so i'm done in july. then i'll earn some money for my desired holiday mid august to mid september!

but i guess i'll have time for a (very ) few kits from next week on... but only national teams of course.

(i upload the national teams without logo because i use flags while most people here us fa logos):

One of the Idea's I was considering august, was to use makispla and Walrus_sip's flags, resize them and use them as logos as well. Then make a patch for either FA or Flag logos ... tasters choice.

What you think? (obviously I would need their permission).

well, the reason i prefer flags is that i know most of the flags in the world but i can see an fa logo of a neighbor country like belgium and ask myself "what is this?" - so it was obvious that i use flags. i'm also used to see flags at national team matches from german tv. ea uses fa logos. i think they want to prove that they have lots of licenses by doing so.

i'm not so sure about the supporter flags but like you said it's tasters' choice. i prefer simple flags. the flags i use in my game have some shadow around it. i wanted to make it look like it's behind some sort of cutted-out thing ... i'm not so happy with that shadow anymore but since i have started it...

I'll see what the responce is like to the teams down the road. maybe this is something we can work on if we run out of things to do.

I still believe there is so much depth to this sport as a whole that it would take a 100 man crew working 24-7 to get it all remotely accurate from top to bottom.

don't call it a comeback. my last, my very last thing i have to make for my university is due july 3rd. but i'm so sick of this university stuff. so i'm doing everything else. like making kits.

Elf Cup was a great tournament. I just can't find any pictures for teams like crimea.

I like to play a fantasy tournament for northern european teams. At the moment it contains norway, sweden, denmark, iceland, finland, faroe, greenland and estonia.
maybe i'll add shetland, saami, aland and latvia (12 teams instead of 8).
