Yeah, in those days I used to use tools such as FSH-Engine and JEd98 to import the kits - the latter being the easiest because it seperated the texture from the design, so you didn't have to worry about the shading.

Additionally there was only 64 kit files to work with, which you had to assign to teams with FEd98 - now that's what I call the Stone Age

I made my first FIFA kit in May 1998, and my last in November 2003, just as PES3 came out (and I jumped ship).

I actually had a fantasy kit set available at Soccer Access for Fifa 2002... it is still available at http://downloads.soccergaming.com and it was a 4GK Bob Marley kit set in honour of the great man... on the site, however, the creator of the kits was listed as "Bob Marley" which wouldn't have been possible considering that he died in 1981... I was known only as "Reggaeboy" then... Ah... the good old days...

that was actualy a copy of the ea kit from fifa 2003, as I knew absolutely nothing about kit making then, I then practised a bit, and my next kits were beter than that
