Kit Transparency Layer Help??

Hi All,

I've googled this and came up short. Basically I'm looking to make some fantasy kits. I've done the hard part ( or so I thought ) but the transparency or "bumps" is giving me a major headache. Everything I import crashes CM14. I'm gathering these blue and purple layers have a transparency mask or something which differentiates the parts of the kit but I cannot find anything on it.

Could someone point me in the right direction please?
