kit selections

everyone knows in fifa 2003 that u could choose the uniforms.

does anybody know if they are gonna let u choose the socks, shorts & shirts.
instead of choosing the shirt and the shorts and socks be locked.

because if real madrid were 2 play man u on fifa u would have to make man u wear white and madrid wear black.

instead u should be able to make man u wear the red shirt w/ white shorts and white socks.

if someone knows please let me know.

Sure not cause we needed to have more than 6 different kits to that. Don't forgot that the kit only have a bitmap.

What he means is that at the beginning you choose not only the shirt type but the sock and short type also, choose them individually rather than a combination of kits, it wouldn't be that hard to do... but no EA have ditched a good idea again.

i think it could have been simply done by just taking the kit format in to three different formats
shirt part
short part
and socks part
but maybe that isn't really necarry to do that
but when you could have apart selection then you have so 9 different combination with a team like machester
and that would be really cool

but now you have to make those combinations for your self and import them
also pretty fun
but would be a lot nicer when you can just select those three things apart from each other
but maybe they can implant it next year

i knew what he meant... the answer is the same.. is no.. and no is not a good idea.. for the reason someone already stated about the bitmaps.. instead of 3 kits for each team.. they would have to make 10+

Well you wouldn't have 10 kits, you'd have say 3 shirt types, 2 short types and maybe 2 sock types, and you just select them individually.

its not realistic in real life you neither wear 1st, 2nd or 3rd kits not a combination

It's not a bad idea, but I do agree with the fact that it would require more graphic files, however there is no reason that it cannot be added to top teams (i.e. Man U) as then it would not mean an addition of hundreds of extra files.
