As long as the Toon avoid the drop then nothing more should be expected. This season has to be used to assess the whole situation at Newcastle, and hopefully by next season things will be a lot better. The entire club is going through changes, and this will take time.

Nail on head. We won't get relegated I don't think. It might be closer than we'd like, but there are 3 worse teams than us in the league.

The comical performances are sure annoying, but not really the point right now.

Thats right man. Performances are not the important thing right now, as much as you do not want to see the team play like they are right now. Its times like these when its difficult for the fans, but we have all been there and we know how crap it feels.

United will come through this better and stronger than before.:)

Now if only the fans in the stadium were as understanding as ShearerM4, then Keegan would only have to worry about the players and not the negative chants as well.. Its going to be a long remaining season for Good old Keegan.

Ironically enough we've been playing some good football, some much better football since Allardyce left. Against Bolton, Boro and half the games against Arsenal and Villa.

I didn't expect anything from the two trips to the Emirates nor this weekend's game at Villa to be honest (even though the scorelines could have been less harsh). Keegan has been unlucky with the timing of the fixtures with ManU up next. Bring on the summer, really.

I like Keegan as a manager but he will need time because the Newcastle defence for the past few seasons has been useless

At the moment rather than winning a game 5-4 which is Keegans philosphy it seems they are more likely to lose 6-5.
