Peter Kenyon has left Man Utd to become the new Chief Executive of Chelsea.

What a brilliant PR coup for Chelsea.

I'll be happy as soon as he's gone, Chelsea can have him, ever since the sail of Juan Veron he has been out of favor with supporters, but I guess it was his plan all along to jump ship.

But the way United has been doing business over the last couple of months is very dodgy to say the least.

*Selling Beckham for £1 million less than agreed in order to get the money earlier
*Selling Veron to Chelsea fo no money what so ever. Saying that Kenyon probably knew what was happening all along.
*Despite selling Veron and Beckham for combined total of around £40 million plus what was already in the transfer kitty for summer spening. Well we all know that no major signings were brought in to replace the players we sold.
*Tickets being sold up to 13 weeks before matches are played. It's never usually been that long.

Perhaps it's just a shareholders dividend pay out.

On the bright side of things.

I thought this moment for him to leave since the sail of Beckham and Juan Veron would never come, one side of me is saying im relieved that he is going, the other side of me is irate that he is leaving for Chelsea - Sellout.

But if he were to leave, I would've been cool with it and so happy about it, but to leave for Chelsea? Thats downright disgusting.

I hate sellouts.

Played a role in 'trying' to destroy our CL chance's by selling Beckham and Veron, Beckham leaving was for the best after what Fergie put him through over the last couple of years, but selling Veron was not for footballing reasons afterall, Veron... veron, I want him back.

Martin Edwards is still on Uniteds board Shokz. He was the one who decided to keep Ferguson on when all the United fans were calling for him to be sacked after United got beat 5-0 by citteh.

Anyway I see a take over on the horizon.... just hope that Kenyon hasn't told Chelsea about United player contracts e.g. buyout clauses and contract lengths.

i remember at the end of july/begninng of august, all of us united fans were furious at kenyon and wanted him sacked and to leave united. well, i didn't think it would actually happen. the man's done wonders, you have to admit, especially considering that he's had to work the club as a business.

but to move to chelsea?? man...i really didn't see that coming. that's like if joe torre decides to manage the red sox next season.

This is another proof of the real power that money has on people.

Any of you would let your current club burn in hell if you had an offer like the one I imagine he had to join Chelsea. You just talk because it wasn't with you, because if it was... things would be different.
