keepers still have problems!!

i have WE6 FE and WE7 And the goal keepers still have major problems. just look at them when they dive sometimes, they turn there body into the goal on shots going into top corner so if they get a touch they push the ball into the net. the goal keepers need to dive full stretch. also on WE7 sometimes the headers towards goal go straight at the keeper with not much power and the Goalie makes a right hash of it.

I think it depends on where you're shooting from. Next time you watch a highlights prog on TV check out how weird the keepers look in slow mo, sometimes there just isnt enough time to stretch. Not saying they are perfect in WE7 but, imo, are much improved over PES2.

And FIFA, well they're all over the place.

I find no real problems, keepers are good enough, and bad enough at times...pretty real if you ask me..

I've seen one pretty terrible mistake in one match. The ball was going off for a corner untill the goalkeeper clawed back on but threw it into the goal mouth :| My AMC was waiting happily.

I have seen a few mistakes on the game and they are pretty realistic mistakes.

The only problem I would say is that their are a bit to agile, not many keepers can save top right hand corner shots everytime, which is something that seems to happen allot on the game

It's actually pretty good as it also depends on the keeper.

Chilavert, Kahn, Buffon are as amazing as in real life while less skilled keeper will let in soft goals.

Check out FIFA 2004. The keepers are constantly out of position. (And Buffon is one of the top world keepers)

I think he is talking about Winning Eleven goalies.. so that difference does it make what Fifa goalies do?

I scored one of the funniest goals on WE7 the other day due to a goalie error. My SH crossed the ball on his (non-dominant) left foot from the right. It heads towards goals and my forward and a defender go to challenge for it in the air. They jump, the keeper just behind them also jumps, anticipating the header from my forward, only to find that the ball has sailed over their heads and has drifted into the goals.

It was a great goal. :)

The goalies are pretty damn good in WE7/and or PES. Sure they arent perfect and do make mistakes but most of them are pretty realistic mistakes.

Fifas are as unrealistic as it can possibly be. They are retared.. the game is retarded.. and hasnt been worth a buck in over 6 years.

Just that all comparisons over here go from being based on objectivity to being laced from subjectivity... still, kobashi, the thing is that these two games are the giants of the sport (kinda like Madden and Espn/2K4 series), and there WILL be comparisons. It's inevitable.

I won't be able to compare, because I'm only buying one football game next February.

PES 3 keepers are realistic becuase most times when it's a great goal keeper he doesn't do a mistake but sometimes he does.Thats make the game more realistic.
