Reason: Kahn never agreed the use of its personality rights. Translation seems abit dodgy but what a fag kahn is if its true.. its only a game for crying out loud.

I think it's mostly their managers who're after the money.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ronaldo or Kahn (well Kahn I'm not sure :) ) wouldn't mind but their managers are already on the phone with their lawyers to see if they can make a buck.

I guess this is just some kind of game. The name is: "The Money Rush".

Ronaldo, and even Khan, receive something like 5 million on just one year!! Here in Brazil (the soccer country), for example, the minimum salary (75% or 80% of our population receive this) are U$$ 60 (R$ 200) by month!!!!

And these players still looking for money? Well....that´s the real problem.

nothing personal here, but I'm not rally a fan of this guy Oliver Kahn and, come on, a team which greatest star is its goalie, something might be wrong... USSR in 60's with Yashin hasn't gone so far, so why do you think Germany would do different?
Getting to the WC final with 1-0 scores here and there? HAHAHAHA :) Hope they improve in 2006.

There are many other goalies out there, this guy is creating a hype around him .

Back to topic:

But I'm not sure about who's right or wrong in this EA issue. How can we know the details of the contracts between the parts involved? Would you like people to use your image to earn some money and gving a sh*t for you? Maybe some kind of deal should be arranged.

If EA makes a deal with khan( which i hope they don't), then every player in the game will want peace of the pie. This will lead to no real players and the likeness in the game.
i.e ronaldo = 9. I am sure the players will go after other games aswell, So this may be the end to real players in soccer/football games.

the reason old fifas didnt have his name was because he had his own game(Ronaldo V-Football on the psx)

In that case, if I was EA, I wouldn't pay €1,000,000 for Kahn's image rights. I mean, he's an ugly bástard and an overrated goalkeeper anyway.

ummm i disagree look zidane scored 2 with his head to beat brazil. but i know what u mean some players are fkd im very proud of ronaldo and zidane coz they have released theirown games and they both do it for the money but also for the good of the ppl. kahn is just a pure loser, and here i go thinking he is fifa player of the yr material, what an idiot i am. go ronaldo, zidane, raul or henry.

As for Kahn, I really hope he loses this case! IF he doesnt, it could really open a can of worms.

EA have been told though, with the FIFpro license, they have rights to all FIFAPro affiliated players

If i can remember ronaldo signed a deal with codemasters for a game that came out on GameBoy i think it was called V9 Ronaldo Football or something along those lines
