Oh, and it looks like we're going to buy, not loan, Martin Caceres from Barcelona for around €12 mil. Looks like a bargain since Barca gave €16 mil last summer for the dude.

That sounds great since we really need another CB. I just checked wikipedia () and it says that his current squad is Juventus. Maybe it's a done deal.

I agree that the possibility we have a great season is high. I normally don't get excited about preseason but, damn, this team has me feeling optimistic.

@Dytza, yeah they haven't beaten us since '05 in the 1st round of the CL, and even then it didn't matter because we knocked them out in the return leg at the Delle Alpi.

yeah, really excited about the new season too, we've got a great squad this year. hopefully we stay injury-free and everything should go well. I'm even excited about the CL too.


oh and by the way, does anyone know how the stadium construction is going?

I think they only broke ground this past spring after many delays. It's due to be finished in March 2011, so we have a ways to go before we leave our little crack shack.(then it officially becomes ToroMerda's crack shack)
