we've finally got a really good squad. all we need now is one more defender and to get rid of Poulsen and Molinaro.

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
Well, Melo has undergone his medical today, so I would think the official announcement of his signing should come tomorrow.

Let's congratulate Secco on a job well done.:33vff3o:

according to Grosso's agent, we are no longer interested in him.

Well we don't really need him, he'd only be a short term fix at LB anyway. Best to give De Ceglie the playing time and valuable experience now and go look for a RB instead.

Felipe Melo: Juventus Can Win Everyting, Even The Champions League

The Brazilian is ecstatic following his big-money move to Turin...

14 Jul 2009 07:49:57

With Felipe Melo fever hitting the Juventus camp as the final details are put on his passage from Fiorentina, the Brazilian can’t wait to get started and shed some light on his season’s ambitions in an interview with GazzettadelloSport.

In Pinzolo they are already going mad for Melo: “I was told, it is a great feeling,” he replied. “The support of the fans is one of the best places from which to push off from. We need to work hard to take the side to number one. I get extremely irritated when I don’t win and I intend to start winning immediately.

“I would like to thank the Viola fans for everything they have given me and I will always hold a place in my heart for them. I’m sorry if now some, probably many, are angry with me. But it had to be this way. The move was a good one even for the club and now Fiorentina can invest the money as well as they know how."

Following Alessio Secco’s comments that, with Melo, Juventus can win everything, the Brazilian was then asked to respond on the ambitious declaration of transfer chief.

He said, “At Juve you can win it all, but to do so you need to work hard.

“I can’t wait to get started.”

That's the spirit (H)

I can hear Juve fans booing Cannavaro all the way over here in America. They must be really angry about him being there.

Understandable, considering he left us in a tough time even when he promised he'd stay if we got relegated.
