Joy for 3 days .. then CreationCentre ruined my FIFA

First of, my problem is pretty complicated so take your time to read it. Thank you for your time.

I was happy and was able to play the game for 3 days. Then when CC came out, I decided to download it. Downloaded it from various sources and the first CC that I downloaded couldnt be installed on my comp, (citing ANSI Code problem blabla)
Then I found the supposedly "full" version of CC, downloaded it and was able to install it(What I meant by install is I only run english setup.exe and mdac_typ.exe) I supposedly can 'edit' my Fifa with that programme so I installed it. Then when I want to play the game, it lags like ****, (I click the forward button and it responded only 3 secs later), I found out my saved game is bloody gone and when loading match, it STUCKS at the 12th blinking man. WTF, I've never had this problem before I installed CC, or the 3 days before.I was very happy with the game and now this thing happen.

I thought that the CC could be the cause of it so I uninstall it by manually deleting the files. But the problem is still there. Then I tried reinstalling the whole game. I've tried reinstalling, uninstall, install, and delete every single "fifa cc", "fifa" and "fifa2003" file in my computer to really make sure that I've completely uninstall the game. I then installed the game back with no luck, still the same problem occured.

Anyone knows how can I fix this? I really want to play the game back. Was it the CC that caused this? Was it because I only run mdac_typ.exe and english setup.exe and did not run Artsetup.exe? I also did not rename that PKG file.

It has nothing to do with my CD and my comp. I bought the game for 49.90 here and its not warez.
My PC specs are
Win 98
520 DDR RAM
Geforce 4 ti 4400
Hard Disk space well over 20 GB.

So couldnt be my comp. Please help, anyone. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you. :( :( :(

i had the same problem mate. i simply un-installed creation centre using control pannel, then deleted any files it left on my pc, and fifa was back 2 normal.

if you have xp try doing a system restore, as the CC mite of changed settings to do with the game, if all else fails just reformat and dont ever touch the CC agen untill every1 agress it works. good luck :)

exact same thing happened to me! :@

but after i uninstalled CC, it worked fine :(

I'm glad I've got Xbox version. Though I can't edit, if I had purchased the PC version, I KNOW I would have downloaded the CC and f*cked up my comp! :f***:

That's EA's add-on programs for ya, maybe FIFA French Touch (if that's their name) will make an FCDB XP for the game...NOW THAT WAS AN EDITOR!!!!! :rockman:

Oh no..not reformat. Reformat will be my last choice. Any more solutions? Can you name be the specific CC file to delete so I can look them up and kill the problem....

Yes! Its been fixed! Thank Youu Argh cant wait to play the game after going 3 days without it.

Suprisingly, when I was in a panick state at that time I couldnt find "Fifa 2003 Creation Centre" in my Add/Remove programme. So I proceed to manually delete the fiels. But just now I checked..and its there! I proceed to uninstall it and start the game and thank God it works!

PS: A warning to rest, if you just want to be safe, dont download CC. It will makes you feel like ****, trust me, Ive gone through it

yes Nick the editor by fifa french toach was amazing so usefull.And even more simple when it came to player editing and making teams.Its a shame EA cant do anything right this year it is by far the best fifa ive ever played......whats missing?No cinematics for subs,bad attributes.

Im so glad the CC doesnt work on my comp.But what i dont understand is why the heck you need 32 but color to run the damn thing.I hate how EA gives you an empty water pouch then throw you in the middle of the sahara and tells you to go find water ie:support is crap


Its a damn shame that a bunch of guys who play fifa during there spare time can make better,Editors,kits,faces,stads,flares,flags,player attributes,and better rosters for teams
