This year we shall be having a tournament format!!!
* There are overall 38 Gameweeks.
*All teams entered before start of gameweek 15 will be considered part of
the tournament.The latter teams will be just part of the challenge for "The SG League Master's Cup"
*We shall be having Phases in the competition.
PHASE 1(Gameweek 1 to Gameweek 15)The first Phase will be untill Gameweek 15.
The top 32 Teams will go into the next Phase.
IMP-IN CASE OF A TIE ANYWHERE, NO. OF TRANSFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED
PHASE 2(Gameweek 16 to Gameweek 23)Here, the top 16 out of the selected 32 will be chosen.
I shall be keeping a track of counting on the scores from Gameweek 15 so
there is no overlapping of the eliminated teams after the top 32.
The updated scores,etc will be posted in our SG Forums.
PHASE 3-The Knockout stage(Gameweek 24 to Gameweek 27)
The 16 teams will compete against each other and their scores for the
specific 4 gameweeks will be filtered out,updated and processed by me.
Here, 2 teams will compete against each other.
Example : I will make a draw for which team will play which out of the
last 16 teams.
suppose we have the positions as:
1)rusi
2)me
3)abc
.....
16)xyz.
then i'll make a draw and teams will compete as : me vs. xyz, rusi vs
abc,etc.
If i have a score of 200 and xyz has a score of 130 over the 4 gameweeks
then i advance to the quarters.
The highest scorer over the 4 gameweeks (24 to 27) will advance to the
quarter finals.
PHASE 4- The quarter Finals(Gameweek 28 to Gameweek 31)
like the last round, out of the advanced 8 teams, there will be a draw of
who'll play whom. Same rules here like the knockout stage.
Winner decided based on total score of the 4 gameweeks played.
PHASE 5 Semi Finals(GAmeweek 32 to Gameweek 35)The 4 entered teams will be ranked as per their score in the quarters and
then:
team 1 vs team 3
team 2 vs. team 4
PHASE 6 Final Games(Gameweek 36 to Gameweek 38)(3rd palce playoff loser sf1 v loser sf 2) AND
Winner sf 1 v Winner sf 2

This is how the tournament will take place.
I will constantly update things.
Now there is a question about what happens with the other teams
eliminated during PHASE 1?
The play will continue as usual and I'll keep track of every score of the
selected 32 teams along each PHASE.
nothing to be sad for the eliminated contestants of Phase 1.
There will be ifferent trophies as follows:
***The SG League Master's Cup:***
Goes to the overall winner at the end of the whole competition
irrespective of whether he/she qualifies for PHASE 2.
***The SG League Champion's Cup:***
Goes to the actual tournament winner.
***The SG League Runners up medal:***
Goes to the runner up
***The SG League 3rd place winners medal:***
Goes to the 3rd placed team.
***The SG League 4th place winners medal:***
Goes to the 4th placed team.
***The SG League Fair Play Award:***
goes to the team who has done the Minimum Number of transfers.(applicable to only the last 16 teams.)
***The SG League best Gameweek score award:***
The dude who'll get the highest single gameweek score throughout the tournament.
The names of the awards are tentative as some seem to suck.

Any more ideas to make it fun are welcomed.
I was thinking of this last season but had my last year of graduation.
I'm free now and am willing to take this opportunity.
