i think it all depends on the color & texture files.

i have updated both graphic standalone 4.1

& hybrid version 2.6.

hd grass 2.5 is inbuilt into both graphic & hybrid latest versions.

will be eagerly awaiting your comments.

please use with HD grass 2.0/2.5(whichever you prefer) for best results!

i can't give a feedback about hd grass 2.5 because i'm still using hd grass 2.0 and waiting for the next update on v3.0

btw, i found a way to fix texture of the grass so that the field looks more real.

Nice update on hd grass 2.6!

But i can't use your graphic standalone because i keep getting disconnect error in FUT mode, Pro club mode and online season mode. Can you please check when you have time how to make them work for online because graphic standalone up to v2.8 works very well without disconnect problem. Thanks for the update!

I switched back to the demo the past 2-3 days, and the demo turfs are a really nice darker green, exactly what I was looking for. I'm guessing the overly-bright lime green pitches in the full game are a result of lighting effects in the full game that aren't in the demo. Would you know which files those are, I would like to try and disable those lighting effects in the full game and see if it improves the pitch colors.

no one have been able to decipher the lighting files since 11.

only option for you(people preferring darker colors) would be to play matches in autumn/winter in the full version or in summer/spring(dusk)
that's the best lighting.

guys..i'm releasing grass mod v 3.0 beta.

grass mod v 3.0 beta will be a continuous project aiming to develop truecolor pitches for all licensed stadiums.

you must have REV mod installed to view the changes.

generic colors/mowpatterns will be overriden by specific colors/patterns for all the stadiums.

as before i need your feedback.
please be specific as to what changes you want(color/mow)
your responses will help in further development of the mod.

the beta will be updated with continuous updates & i will put out notes specifying the changes i have made.
