Today AC Allianssi and FC Lahti clashed on the final of the finnish League Cup. The game ended 2-2 and AC Allianssi won on penalties.
Jari Litmanen got on the game as a sub, when FC Lahti's manager Harri Kampman took him on when ~60minutes were played. He got a standing ovation which ain't so common in Finnish football
For the first five minutes everyone on the pitch seemed shaky and confused, but after Litmanen had been on for awhile he seemed to start to catch the pace and on the last few minutes he was phenomenal. one the last 15minutes he didn't make a single pass that wouldn't have gone to a teammate.
AC Allianssi equalised anyway on '92 minutes, after Jari had been owning some allianssi-players near the corner flag. He did his signature move and his cross almost led to the goal that would've sealed it for FC Lahti.
Overally it was a very entertaining game and FC Lahti were very unlucky to lose it after Allianssis last minute equaliser.
