I wouldn't, even for a second, doubt as to the validity of that rumour, man. , I mean, we've got the stupidest management in all of sport. That exchange isn't even close to being balanced, man. It's a Goddamn robbery. VDM is better and more valuable to us at his position than Cassano would be to us (he'll only retard Martins' chances of growing as a footballer) and Cruz is a better overall footballer than Cassano. He's a great asset to us coming off the bench (something cumstain Cassano couldn't handle professionally)

Plays for Atlético-PR, the team who's leading the Brazilian First Division and are likely to be the champions. One of the best players on the team, good attacking mid. with nice ball touch.

Racing a certainty for Torrado
Monday, 29 November 2004

Gerardo Torrado will join Real Racing Club Santander on loan from Spanish rivals Sevilla FC when the transfer window reopens.

Six-month loan
The Mexican international midfielder was presented by Racing today after agreeing a six-month loan with the northern club, although he will not be eligible to play until 1 January. The 25-year-old, whose contract at Sevilla expires in June 2005, has previously played for Club Universidad Nacional AC, CD Tenerife and Club Polideportivo Ejido.

'Dual nationality'
"Torrado is a strong midfielder with character and quality," said Racing chairman Santiago Díaz Zavala. "He also has dual Mexican/Spanish nationality and will not be counted as a foreign player."
