Its too difficult me dumb and stupid

At semi pro its far too easy and at pro I cant beat the game.

Everytime they receive the ball they turn around and pass it immediately making tacklings very difficult...not to mention that I seem to miss many tackles and 50% of the tackles I do end up going to an opposing player. They seem to get through the middle fairly easy due to my sucking tackling skills...played lots against man u. and that darn Scholes always scores against me...one missed tackle and he is through...he also has a much higher scoring rate than Niestelroy who seems to miss a lot in front of goal.

Fifa 2003 is made for pro gamers....not the casual player who is happy with knowing how to master 2 or 3 buttons on a joypad but still wants a decent challenge. I played fifa all these years and I simply cant get used to the new heading system, I keep pressing the stupid shooting or passing button which wont make him head anywhere, I am also a bit too slow for the fast tapping whenever I do remember the right button.

Its a sad thing to win all games on semi-pro and loose all games on pro which must mean that I am stupid and dumb since most people apparantly seem to like the game.

I am going over to a corner and weep.

Hmmm...

It seems from what you are describing that you are only using the aggressive tackle button...

Try the 'Conservative Tackle' button...

Hint. Hint.

I know how to use the conservative tackle but my problem is that I cant get pass their defenders, they usually win by 1 goal and I score 0. I ve tried with the run calls and everything, there is no way to dribble past an opponent in pro mode that I ve discovered.

Learning curve? I never learned to play fifa 2002 and I tried for almost 6 months......I liked fifa 2001, it was easy and suited my temper, I am not going to spend 2 years trying to learn fifa 2003 so I can play in pro mode. My little brother gets the game, he is a lot better with a joypad than me.

There are in fact ways to dribble past an opponent in pro mode...

I have found three so far:

1) Hold down 'e' an run straight towards them, then right as they are about to conservative tacle you, turn slightly.

2) Run along the wing of the pitch, then as someone is about to come from behind, (while pressing 'e') press space or shift to do a special move.

3) Run straight at them, while not pressing e, press space or shift and you will do a move sort of like the default special move in 2002.

By the way, this learning curve is extrordinarily easy...

maybe the problem is that you are trying to play fifa 2003 like you played fifa 2001, you have to adjust your strategy because fifa 2001 was horrible..

Yes, you certainly are.

And you aren't suppose to master the World Class-difficulty at first attempt. I play at World Class after 4 days of play, it's all about adjusting the tactics. Like Valioso said: this isn't FIFA 2001.

I had that problem too , I always lost on pro but won easy on semi. I changed formations to 3-5-2 and started playing on pro and now im always winning on pro, they have no chance :D

you have to keep in mind there are about 9 other outfiled players. if you are attacking and you run out of space, pass back to you midfielders.

you cannot play fifa 2003 as you did the earlier one, such as going from midfield to goal with just one man.

amen to anyone who has a big enough functioning brain to adjust to the gameplay. honestly, it is stupid if you think its going to be just like 2001.
