(That's a line from Rambo: First Blood's credits-song!)

A long time ago, in a world seemingly far far away, the CM community was amazing. Websites were a-plenty and there were many many forums/downloads/tactics pages.

Sadly, tis now not the case, what with the growth of the Internet smaller fansites are no longer needed in preference of one or two sites simply presenting many MANY downloads.

I only noticed this when i talked to Alex the other day, we talked about the lack of a real "community" anymore. I blabbed on about sigames.com and sortitoutsi.net - but these dont really constitute to a vast amount of sites, hell, the former is even the official website.

Basically, I want people to post here websites they use or have used recently, I'm no longer as active in the CM/FM community, so i cant really help that much. Anyway, the idea is that we compile a list of sites here (feel free to plug your own) then i'll make an official "community" thread with links to all the sites, advantages and what they provide, and a few cons etc.

I just feel that many people on these boards would benefit from taking off the blinkers and looking at a few sites, rather than just here, sigames and susie.

Get posting bitches.

CM Portugal is the best, if not the only, portuguese CM/FM community website around. It has pretty much all of the tactics, updates, patches and such that you see in Susie or FMUnderground, with the advantage (to portuguese users) of offering nacional downloads (thus allowing people with lower download limits to get more files). They also have forums with a lot of activity, but obviously the main down point - to you lot - is that it's Portuguese.

The only FM-related sites I ever frequented were this very one, thedugout.net, cmgamer.com (fmgamer.com), and sigames.com. And susie for the downloads after SI and Eidos broke up.

I've visited fmunderground, cmgreece, and several others also.

thedugout - formally the best. :(

Do you remember a fansite that closed during the early CM01/02 days?
It was by FAR the most popular and rich in content website I can remember of..
What was the site name...(:/)

I can post many community sites. Fact is that when it comes to the best community site it's still Susie.
Although there's this booming community at FMFormation.net, but really Susie's still the best.

Susie would be the number one place to look out for graphics (Y). Sometimes, I'd check out the SI Community forums to see what's going on.
