I think it will be a rather defensive oriented game with no Tottii. The Italians know that they cannot afford to lose or else they could be facing an early exit. Having said that, they do not play Denmark, one of the teams that can knock them out, any more so they must carpitalize on their other games and this is one of those other games. A tie would not guarantee anything except set up a game where they would have to destroy Bulgaria. Under normal circumstances they might have attacked a bit but with no Tottii, I think they will get lulled into a defensive game with Sweden content for the tie....1-1 ! Too bad cause I got the day off for the first time during the tournament so was hoping to watch a good one....disgusting suspension but he deserved it!:rockman:

Italy will play better without Totti. Totti is being expected to create everything, everyone was passing it to him. and even the coach said things like 'We have Totti, we can win'

Football is about the team. Italy always has this poor attitude of thinking one player can be their hero. Only Maradona was that sort of player.

The totti issue needs to be forgotten and we must focus on the task at hand. If we get to the semis he will be back, until then, it doesn't really matter. We need to go up early and make it 2-0 so it will be secure, I trust our defense against the team that scored 5 goals against Bulgaria.

The Italian defence is strong, but the italian offense is very overrated, Vieri seems uninspired and out of form, Del Piero isn't the old Del Piero, I don't know what Camoranesi is doing in hte NT and Totti is suspended. The players that scares me a little bit is Cassano and possibly Fiore. Lets hope that Italy doesn't start with Gattuso and Pirlo too.

A question to the italians, don't you have a better RB than Panucci? Because I think he's quite crap.

Unfortunately Pancaro was injured or else he probably would've started. If Maldini had decided to play, Zambrotta would've played RB, not his ideal position but surely he would be better then Panucci.

Oops didnt saw the lineup, is it officially confrimed? But I still feal that the Italian offense is overrated. Del Piero and Vieri is totally out of form.
