PS2 version.

- In the team selection lists, why couldn't EA make them sort logically, so Premiership is followed by The Championship, LeagueOne, LeagueTwo? Minor, but annoying.

- With Winter weather why do ALL the players wear LONG sleeves with gloves? Wouldn't you assume at least a few rough & tumble CB's would hoof it in short sleeves? Maybe a MF or 2 with sleeves but no gloves? Come on EA, you should logically know better than this....never make ALL players wear something so non-standard.

- Also with winter weather, how come it never snows during the game? You never see any snow actually falling, at least in the 2 games I tested.

- Why so limited adboards? Couldn't you make some generic non EA related one's?

Oh yes, one more, not anywhere near enough fouls are called. Why is the ref always so lax?

Just call the leagues "England Premiership", "England Championship", "England League One" etc. They are ordered alphabetically. That way you also avoid those stupid Barclay/Coca Cola sponsor names.

About the adboards, i completely understand you find it annoying. You don't want to be reminded in every second that you're playing a video game. But you'll find a lot of adboards here (and already in the 07 forum) that you can import.

Edit: Just saw that you're playing ps2 version. That way of course you can't edit this stuff.

Great ideas mate.

Realistic "non-EA" related adboards would only help the game give the representation of being more "real".


I can edit the PS2 DB (I have a PS2 with a HDD that plays ISO files) using the CM07 PC editing tools, maybe all the adboard, kit files are handled for the PS2 in the same way???

I believe that stuff is housed in the zdata files, which the PS2 version matchs the PC version pretty closely (in all file structure manners).....I need to looking editing my PS2 file for the adboards this year.
