Hello, I suggest you to wait for FIFA 14 CAREER MODE EDITOR 1.0, you simply edit and enable edited file into the game.
Anyway if you want to unlock players editing in career mode by itself, you must edit this file:
\dlc\dlc_footballcompeng\dlc\footballcompeng\data\cmsettings.ini (data1.big)
at line 54 (Notepad++): UNLOCKABLESMANAGER = 1 // set to 0
like this: UNLOCKABLESMANAGER = 0
After this you must regenerate data1.bh in order to read file from folder.
I add more editing tips on the upcoming tool.

it is available in the EA catalogues but unfortunately you have to reach level 19 to unlock it this time.

1 = because I can not regenerate as the IARD program does not work on Xp.

2 = I have the cmsetting in an incomprehensible language and so I can not edit the strings

Have you tried using bernd's bh editor and regenerator? I don't have the full game, I'm still playing the demo, so I can't check.

Hey Fidel,

I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer...
I've tried (for XBOX360 iso of Fifa 14) your method of editing line 54 UNLOCKABLESMANAGER = 0. After changing the file I guess I have to re-encrypt the 'new' cmsettings.ini (to chunklzx) and place it back in the data1.big? The problem is however, quickbms can't reimport chunklzx. JK Fifa File Explorer can make chunkzip, will this work in stead of chunklzx?
Secondly, data1.hb has to be regenerated. What program do I use because FHL-BH-Editor won't run on Windows 8 (stops working directly at start-up).

FHL-BH-Editor (FIFA 14) don't work...

You have simply to extract and decompress the ini file (using jenkey's file explorer or file master),
then change the value of the string as suggested by fidel,
save in the correct path and regenerate.

Or, if you're using the new jenkey's loader,
put it, in the fifa14mod path.
