Is in-game Ireland away kit real?

I have played with Ireland in FIFA07 and I had never seen Ireland playing in the away kit that we find in the game, but in a different one.

My question is: Is the Ireland away kit in the game real? If it is, is it available to buy somewhere?

I dont think it is real, they still use this one as far as I know...

Maybe EA got pre-scheduled pictures?

Which Ireland are you talking about? Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland?

I suppose if he meant Northern Ireland he would have said Northern Ireland and wouldn't have agreed with me.

He said Ireland, as we know there are 2 teams called Ireland, if anyone knows football they would know that both countrys have been refered to as Ireland.

Well to me 'Ireland' refers to 'Republic of Ireland' rather than 'Northern Ireland' and Northern Ireland's away kit (blue kit) ingame has already been played in real life against Denmark I think.

Exactly, usually when I say 'Ireland' plainly I refer to the Republic of Ireland. This terminology doesn't offend people form Northern Ireland, does it?

Unfortunatly it does offend people from the North, because when there was no borders before the whole country was refered to as Ireland, but they have been seperated for 80+ years.

Well the Republic of Ireland is very commonly known simply as Ireland, surely you must get confused and upset on numerous occasions.

I guess that's why he's called "true blue".

I can't believe this argument. Do you think that the whole world wants to call "Ireland" "Republic of Ireland" for some Northern Irish people's touchiness?

And don't you think the term "Northern Ireland" gives a small hint that you ARE irish?

Then you will agree that its a common mistake to make.

Read further up the thread, both country have been refered to as ireland in Football terms for a long time, since 1882 in fact.

Whats your point?

My point is that you complained it was wrong to call Ireland Ireland because you were Irish, too. The term "Northern Ireland" says you ARE Irish but of course NORTHERN Irish because not every Irish is Northern Irish, means you are only a part of the island Ireland. The northern part, to be exactly. Can't you imagine that it is extremely confusing to call two (parts of) countries "Ireland"? And: Do you want to be mistaken for the country that lost 2-5 against Cyprus? :)
