im real upset with this game there is no one-on one game. It is all passing, if a player from the opposite team goes near you, you lost the ball already.

If Ronaldo can dipsy doodle around every player he came across he'd score every 5 minutes. If you create openings with the passing and do a good run you'll get a player like Ronaldo open enough to make a run on goal. You don't see too many players at the top level just running by players. More realistic I think.

if you watch CL or another match at top level, you'll se a lot more dribbling than in a CL-match in fifa... not even the wingers in fifa do something like a simple shoot-feint, and that's not realistic at all... even an english-match have more dribbles than those fifa-matches, and that sayes it all. Wouldn't it be frustrating watching Real Madrid playing and no-one doning any dribbling?

Actually i can dribble just fine. I've been playing this game for some time now, i've just started to use moves. Yeah, they dont always work, but that makes it good.

Im not saying that they should make the offense more dominate. I just do not like that you have to pass in roder to move the ball, and the passing after you cross to your oppents side of the mid field is not that great. The player you pass to stays still but the defense moves and intercepts the ball. EA tried to make the game more realistic, but it is not the way the leagues play. I put the game to a side for a week because I got frustrated because I couldn't score.

With Luis's patch it's quite easy to dribble with a fast player. Almost too easy... Especially against the keeper.

So if you like to take Ronaldo and beat one or two or five guys and score try the patch!

Personally I enjoy the passing aspect of football more than dribbling. Sometimes I feel that players like Figo, Ronaldo, try to take on defenders too often! because they lose the ball quite frequently. That's their style though! They're great players.

why do people say it is so hard to get around defenders - has anyone tried not just running straight at the defenders?

freestyle works fantastic, and i've done the best smart-arse running goals


with bergkampi walked up to the chelsea defence right in between terry abd desailly and did a 360 (clockwise) between the 2 and the ball was slightly ahead of me and from about 10-15 yards i toe poked (with shot modifier to keep ball down) a shot into right hand corner - just out of cudicini's reach


pity it's on xbox and i can't save replay - but i've left it paused at that point to show everyone i know this replay

i think the game is a perfect blend of passing and dribbling. you use the passing to get open and create opportunites and then you maybe use a couple of dribbling moves to get by the defender, the blast it into the goal. using tricks is amazing for all of you saying the dribbling sucks. you can do so many different things, and its realistic because you dont ALWAYS get by the player

If they are going to make it a passing game they should make it more realistic. I hate that when you pass the reciever can not move but the defenders can. For the dribbling, you should be able to do tricks. In this game you can only run with the ball infront of you, and turn around in circles.
