Australia surely. Iran is up there with the best but Australia is better and surely Japan are too. Then South Korea and Iran come next.

im not going by the rankings....

Australia in the Asian cup in 2007 was down to poor managment from Grahem Arnold and under performance from the players. Australia look to be breezing through the world cup qualifiers, they have stumbled a bit but they've looked superior at times. Iran are close but not the best.

how about japan in qualifiers 2006 Germany iran defeated Japan 2-1

How about Saudis? iran defeated them 4-1 in azadi stadium
how about Korea? iran defeated them with 3-1.

Australia is the best team in Asia. Italy, world champions of 2006, won the match against them with illegal penalty at 90 minutes in quarter final. While, Iran didn't manage to beat Angola, and they players kicked portugal players all the times.

Your stats are fake because Iran and Australia draw 2-2 in 1998 and you won becuase of away goal and eveyone know that was the fluke.

We are at the top of our group at the moment, while you are lucky to come from behind every times.

by the way, when was the last time you won asian cup, let me think 1976.

they will play against Oman, Kuwait, and Indonesia in Asian Cup 2011 Qualification aren't they? we'll see how much they can do
