NEWPORT council's trading standards department received three complaints in the run up to Christmas from residents who have attempted to buy UGG Australia boots(discount ugg boots) online. The purchases were made on three different websites claiming to sell the authentic UGG Australia boots(ugg classic cardy boots) but all of which have been found to originate in China. Trading Standards has advised Newport consumers who want to buy authentic UGG Australia boots(ugg classic tall boots) to only do so on websites that are authorised retailers. Genuine UGG Australia products(ugg classic short boots) can only be bought at UGG Australia flagship stores(ugg fluff flip flop sandals) and the official website.It has also advised people to be cautious of purchasing what are advertised as UGG Australia products(ugg classic tall metallic) on auction websites.A Trading Standards spokesman said the cheap price often reflects the products' poor quality but that many counterfeiters are now charging the full retail price to avoid being detected by consumers.
