This game is rubbish and here's why ....

99.99% of shots on goal go way over the bar.

A quick free kick. How come the oppo can create a wall in front of you?

Say your Rooney and you have the ball and are running up the pitch. You have support to the left and to the right of you. Yet when you press the pass button he just taps the ball ahead even though there is no one there!!

If you give a sliding tackle and still don't get the ball then the next player you get control of also does a sliding tackle or slowly stand up.

Why does your players never do the best pass? 9/10 he will pass to a player that is surrounded by opponents and not to a player that is unmarked?.

Also noticed you can play the ball down the wing untouched.

Online there is a lot of people who play Brazil who simply run down the wing then go go diagonally towards goal and score. This happens a lot.

I could go on about defenders walking away from attacking players, the appalling goalkeeping. ( my goalie once made a save, the ball slipped from his hand and then he kicked it into his own net).

Lets's have a patch to improve all of the above , cos i've played FIFI 07 and that is even worse than this.

alw1969 PES just aint that simple ..you need to practice ,practice, practice :nape:

You need to be more precise with your button pressing and use the directional button to direct the ball to which direction you want it to go, there are also degrees of pressure that you need to apply when shooting and passing depending which type of shot/pass you want to make ,there are MANY combinations of button pressing to get skilled at.

The simple way of putting it is :-
Fifa = Infant child. :confused:

PES = Albert Einstein. :jambo:

so if i'm so rubbish then can someone at least tell me why a quick freekick results in the oppo building a wall? It's a bug right?

....or just go back to the name calling and abuse if you want.

Hi guys this is my first post. I'm from America and I have to say that PES is just a great game. I used to think the game was too hard for me so all you have to do is play the game a lot and you will be fine. Start on the lowest level if you have to and then work your way up.

The shooting does need to be tweaked a little. Just yesterday I put two shots over the bar from about 4 yards out with an open net in front of me. Don't know why it does that. I didn't even give the shots that much power, but somehow the player manages to get under the ball and way into the turf. I don't think you could do that if you tried, unless of course you're Djibril Cisse. Oh well.

And yeah, how the hell does the opposition manage to build a wall when you take a quick free kick? And why doesn't the computer ever take quick free kicks? And speaking of direct free kicks, they are absolutely useless. Free kick accuracy doesn't matter with them, just shot power. You can have 99 FK acc but if you can't put ultra power in it then it's a waste.

And one other thing. Why the hell does the computer keep making my players perform slide tackles I didn't tell it to. I get so many suspensions that way.

Mh, I don't think it's a bug. Imo, it's more depending on if it's reasonable to take a a quick free-kick in a particular foul situation, e.g. when no one of your teammates is close to you for a short pass.

Basically before executing a quick freekick you have to press the direction button towards your team mate you want to pass to, otherwise it will go straight into the opponents wall.

Nope the shooting system is rubbish. Why would a player hoof the ball over the bar with an open goal in front of him? Not realistic at all.

By the way i just lost another game today. My keeper back-healed the ball into his own net whilst my defenders were all backing away from the ball.

Gonna re-install the game. Its bugged. Oh yeah.

Not at all? I have seen this a lot in real matches, e.g. remember Giuly's chance to score the 3-0 for Barca against Werder Bremen in the last CL match. The goal was WIDE OPEN! :jambo:
