Internet help needed.

My brother is having problems with the internet. He can connect ok and it stays connected while there is no browser open, but as soon as an IE explorer window is opened up he gets a message in the top left of the screen saying: 'You have just ignored an incoming call. Press OK.' Then it disconnects the connection. He uses dial up but we both use the same account, just from different computers. Any help would be much appreciated

it might be worth trying an alternative browser if possible to see if the same thing happens, Firefox and OPERA are the most popular, and better than IE, alternatives.

Well it came up without the internet explorer broswer this time so it's not that. Any other ideas?

Have you checked for spyware and that?

Yeah we've done that with norton.

uninstall the internet software and than install it again.
