Man, whatta game, this one keeps going back and forth. 2-2 Both newcastle goals scored by Shearer ( this man is pure class) and goals from Vieri and Ivan Cordoba for Inter. The cordoba goal was awesome, little Colombian wonder Ivan Cordoba jumped like ten feet in the air to bury the ball far post. Abolutely beautiful...

what a game!! shearer is PURE class.. but this game was a bit messy.. guys were getting wacked left and right. too much non-sense.. there was almost a big rumble at the end between the two teams becuz of lualua lol!! so many cards given but it was a very entertaining game and i guess a draw is a fair result.

Inter are scum. I would love to just stuf Conceicao in the mouth. Maybe kneecap him, show him what a real foul is. He goes down quicker than Jenna Jameson. Newcastle deserved to win. The referee lost it. Di Biago was cheating at the end. There should have been 6 minutes added on.

Another reason why the Serie A is ****. Some good football is played, but the scummy players are so whiny. Meh.

I thought it had to be a goal, the keeper did a good job on that, even if he didn't know anything about it.

Newcastle was very unlucky not to win as they throughly kept the ball during the game.

Refereeing was horrible. Bellamy wins a penalty and then gets a yellow for diving. Vieri takes a dive and does not get a card. The game got out of hand (not surprisingly) as the referee could not control the game and kept calling no fouls.

Bernard was one of the best players in the match, made Sergio Conceicao look like a girl; he was complaining, rolling around so much.

wow. that has to been one of the worst games every officiated. in the last minutes, when baggio got the card for telling the ref the wall was too close...what a joke! then they take the kick and the wall miracoulousy morphs within 5 feet of the kick, no retake of course. when shearer got that card in the end i was about to buy a ticket to millan and kill the ref myself. what a terrible game.

I can't describe how i'm feeling. The pain is huge i'm so dissapointed!!! To tell you truth there are tears in my eyes! This is so horrible the pain and torture

We need a mirale now we have to beet Barca and Lever have to beet Inter!

You must have OBVIOUSLY missed that Lua Lua shove on Cordoba at the end of the game and the Bellamy dive...

That Bellamy penalty was as legitimate as Jeffers.

The guy anticipated contact and dragged his foot. I don't get why Jeffers is lambasted for it and I don't expect anyone to criticise Bellamy for it.
In my opinion, you either give the penalty or you don't, but don't book a guy for anticpating contact.

Believe me, I was pissed when I heard about the Jeffers dive. I'm glad we don't get a goal out of it...
