Right....I need to remember that.

I was actually excited about this weekend (see my earlier post) but dissapointment has set in again.

I don't think Vieri should be benched, still our best striker, Adriano still has a ways to go before we start saying he should start ahead of Vieri. I don't see a reason against playing them together. I would prefer an Adriano(he was tired from playing midweek) Vieri attack and let Stankovic operate behind. Leaving Recoba to come off the bench.

That goal Vieri scored...it was crap and class at the same time...no one else would've got that touch to it.

Our problem today was in defence (obviously), got it done @ one end...

SB9Dragon, you know what? You're about most things you said on that post. I've always had an axe to gring with Vieri. His one dimensionality and ability to have the whole team revolve around him has always annoyed me, but today he definitely did play one of his best games ever and I still had to criticize him. That wasn't fair of me to do that. He had some great touches, played on the right wing, won decent balls and beat opposing players with his ground game too.

Read Cambiasso could be moving to Inter after his contract runs out...do you think he could do a better job compared to Zanetti(Cristiano) or Almeyda?

Inter already have C. Zanetti, Almeyda, Emre, Stankovic, Lamouchi and Farinos for the central midfield spots.
Surely one or two of those players will have to leave.

Emre, Stankovic, and Lamouchi are offensive midfielders...no use mentioning them...Lamouchi could go though.

Almeyda is retiring and it seems Farinos has featured more under Zac than Zanetti(he has been injured)...if we get Cambiasso, one of them may go.

IMO buying Cambiasso using the cash that Real still owes (you greed b@sterds) would be a great steal for us. Inter could loan out Biava and Beati (again) to make room or sell Lamouchi. Though if Almeyda retires then that would create the best opportunity for Cambiasso to play.

Hopefully this deal goes through because IMO Cambiasso is a good player, and maybe he can hit it big(ger) with Inter instead of with Real....

Well that wouldnt really be the case seeing how you can get him for free once his contract expires...All Inter have to do is get him to sign a pre-contract agreement...

Anywayz of course I know that we can wait until the end of the season and get him free. But by then who knows who else will be fighting to sign him as well. Then we could miss out, or we could be forced to give him a larger contract due to other opposition. If we sign him to a precontract now (since we can't buy him now) then we would be all set in the summer without any pressure.
