The presidents in italian football is waaaaaay to powerful. It would be like having Johnny Fontane asking Vito Corleone to go **** himself ..

Like I've said b4, signing Ze Maria was a good idea. He's one of the best RBs in the Serie A and having a versatile player like him in the squad is a plus. Mihaljovic on the other hand was a stupid pickup.

Anywayz Cesar seems to be the next player that the side will buy and its looking like Morfeo will be included in the deal since Lazio want him. HELL YEAH :rockman: Hopefully the team can pack in a few more players into the deal and pay a small amount of cash to get him. Though if Cesar is signed he will probably play as a LW since there are already 3 LBs in the team.

Cannavaro is injured and is undergoing therapy, the same as Vieri who is closer to returning. Martins is also injured.

Wait a minute? You want to sign even more players?? What we need is some consistency. At the moment we have a good backbone to rely on. We can't sign anymore unless we let alot of players go. It's like a football-academy at the moment. It's ridiculous ..

Inter have too many good players and they don't know how to take advantage of that.

With the squad they have they should win the Serie A easily.

maybe you are right, with Davids, Emre, C. Zanetti, Karagounis; all similer players, I feel he may not get much time

and no, club football and international are two different parks, though played on the same field, anyone on the Greek squad would have trouble starting at Inter

Cesar played for Lazio, I don't know much about him but many poeple raving about how good he is, and if he can play left back or on the wing that'd be great

and yes the Cannavaro rumors are running high...but he has been to practices....see here

....oh wait....good news to my ears, here is a small interview from the locker room

http://www.inter.it/aas/news/reader?N=15061&L=en

I don't think he's going anywhere.
;) :p

last year when they played him for that one half....he provided a spark in the mid-field that they lacked.......I think they should Karagounis a chance or let him go play elsewere.......Panathinaikos is going to sorely miss him this year and its shameful that a player of his talent is sitting on the bench

Personally I don't see the need for any more players to come to the club, especially LWs because the side already has tons of players capable of playing there.

Emre
Kily
Recoba
Stankovic
Karagounis
Javier Zanetti
Van der Meyde

Though since Mancini and co. seem to want to sign a new LW so much I was just saying that I'd be happy to see Morfeo or any other player that isn't needed at the club included in the deal.

MILANO - After a sudden illness, Adriano's father Almir Leite Ribeiro died during the night. He was 44. Accompanied by a Nerazzurri executive and his agent Gilmar Rinaldi, Adriano will arrive in Brazil in the coming hours.

Massimo Moratti, president Giacinto Facchetti, the executives and staff of F.C. Internazionale Milano, Roberto Mancini, the coaching staff and the players express their condolences and support for Adriano.

God rest his soul and condolences to Adriano. This is a real pity, just as Adriano was performing so well such a tragedy happened - only 44 years of age as well. Well when Adriano was born his father was 22, and now just as Adriano turns 22 his father has passed away.

Hopefully Adriano can still keep up his excellent form and perform to the best of his ability.

========================================

Notable absentees are Cordaz, Sorondo, Lamouchi, Farinos, Adani, and Coco.

I'm thinking that Cordaz might be loaned out to some Serie B side because it would make no sense to call up Bindi whose a Primavera GK instead of opting for Cordaz who has been with the full team for 2 years.

Sorondo will probably be loaned out if not sold.

I also expect for Adani, Farinos, and Lamouchi to all be sold or have their contracts terminated (especially Adani)

I just have no clue on Coco. Perhaps Mancini would rather sell him and buy Cesar so that Cesar can be a LWM and also a backup LB? The reason isn't injury because Coco is match fit.

WTF?? wheres Coco?? i had high hopes for him this season, about Lamouchi, Farinos, Adani and Sorondo (who thought he had a chance?) theyre Inter days are numbered.

I remember last season when inter bought Lamouchi, they were linked with Pires, when asked an inter official said "we dont need Pires, we have Lamouchi already, and hes the same kind of player". Inter tranfer campaign last summer was brutal, other than VDM, wat were they thinking??????

Coco for Cesar
Inter are on the verge of signing the last player requested by Roberto Mancini to complete his squad: Cesar.
The Lazio player has been one of the nerazzurri’s main targets in the past weeks and the key to unlock this negotiation has become Francesco Coco.

The Inter full-back is coming from a season full of injury problems but now seems back to form and ready for the new season. However the player has been omitted from the official Uefa lists for no apparent reason and this might indicate that the player is finally biancoceleste bound to replace Cesar.

Mancini Forced To Explain Himself
8/6/2004 1:36:00 PM
New Inter coach Roberto Mancini has reacted to Jaap Stam’s suggestions that he tried to get the big Dutch centre-back to move to the Nerazzurri when the pair were at Lazio last season.
"It’s true that last season I spoke with the player about an eventual transfer to Inter," he was quoted as saying on Inter’s official site. "Leaving aside what my professional future could have been, I thought this possibility favourable in terms of the players the Nerazzurri club could have offered Lazio as part of any deal. And the directors of the Biancocelesti club were informed of this. But in the end this matter was a way of joking among ourselves."

Stam had said that "Mancini spoke about Inter all the time last year."

The former Manchester united defender had his official Milan presentation yesterday

yes I am dissapointed not seeing Coco on the list...he is match fit too...weird thing is that he's appeared 5 times in pre-season frendlies so its not like Mancini doesn't have him in his plans

more importantly on the list is Cannavaro and Vieri, neither have appeared in one pre-season match...I was thinking all along they were just being given more time off from Euro...I'm expecting to see them in the starting line-up...least Cannavaro anyway
